The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT2| It's 98 All Over Again

the real cheap part is the moment when the Korok sees a "ghost" and sprints back a few meters, which comes out of nowhere. It's literally trial and error. :/

Yeah its so stupid. I'm just gonna max out on stealth buffs before I try this again. Failed a few times and got angry so I warped away and took my frustrations out on some moblins lol

That blows my mind. I just did it like a bad ass Robin Hood.

Same. I found out about the easy way until after I wasted nearly 50 arrows. Super cool still.

I've broken them up just swinging them around in empty air to set stuff on fire.

Ok. That's good to know because I was thinking of abandoning a torch for the rod but I'll keep the torch for lighting purposes.

By that I mean keep in my inventory. I need it for something.

Yeah, Aonuma confirmed multiple endings months and months ago, before anyone gets up my ass about spoilers.

No memories are missable.
If you haven't yet, you'll eventually progress one of the main quest such that it'll give you a list of memories with a clue for each one.

I wouldn't word it that way. They're counted as main quest, but it's possible you never accept that quest in the first place.
The memories linked to the pictures are *all* missable. There are technically no unmissable memories, but as long as you do the titans you can't miss those memories. The ones tied to locations are pretty easy to miss, acctually.

At first, I thought that meant we could rewatch them. :(

I was going to rewatch them all in chronological order before going into the castle. I guess I have Youtube for that.

You can rewatch them under "Memories" in the Quest menu.

You can rewatch them.

How? When I hit A on the photograph, my only option is a greyed out "delete". Does that occur once you find them all?

I took "missable" to mean permanently so. You're correct though.

I did it on my second try with no stealth buffs. When he walks into the tree log follow him until you are at the end of the log, wait there for him to run back a few steps, after that it's smooth sailing.

So thus far the only Zelda games I haven't seen with overt references to are Zelda II and the two Four Swords titles, and Zelda II is a maybe due to there being locations named for the sages in OoT, names of which originated in Zelda II. Are there any Four Swords references found yet? I've seen places named after areas from the Oracle games even, which tend to be among the most forgotten Zelda titles.

EDIT: Actually I haven't found any Spirit Tracks reference yet, and I guess no Triforce Heroes one yet though I've never played that so I guess I wouldn't know it if I saw it.

It's from a different menu (I think it's the quest log) you can also see the flashbacks from the main story as well. I plan on watching them all in chronological order right before the final battle.

What do you guys do to make money?

My usual plan is
getting luminous stones. I know you can trade 10 for a diamond, but diamonds sell for 500 while 10 stones go for 700.

Finally got a decent amount of hours in [been very busy lately] - and I must say, the game is absolutely not overhyped.

Incredible. Will and should go down as one of the greatest video games of all time without question.

I imagine by unmissable they just mean that they never expire after a certain point and become completely unobtainable

is there more than one
coliseum? Mine had a regular red lynel, i thought it was supposed to be a silver one. not that I was gonna fight it I just wanted a picture

Go to the stable that is on the way to Kakariko village. It's the Dueling Peaks stable (I think?). In the field around the stable there is an area with a shit ton of swords stuck into the ground, claymores I think. There are like 20 of them in a very small area. Should be fairly easy to find, I recall it being a little north east of the stable.

So I found the Dueling Peaks stable, but I didn't find a field with a ton of swords. I found a Woodcutter's Axe and a Farmer's Pitchfork but that's it. When you say the field around the stable do you mean the one with the wild horses in?

EDIT: nevermind I found it, it was a bokoblin encampment.

I think stuff there ranks up as you progress further. After the next blood moon you can go back and see if a higher rank Lynel is there.

The third photo from your album, that's not in the very first area, right? At first it looked like it and I decided to return to the great plateau. But now for no reason it seems, lol.

Mipha's the worst fucking character in the game.

Y'all going nuts for an aquatic loli. smfh.
I unlocked a memory today and this is what happened:

Zelda: Waaaah why isn't this sheikah slate working?
Zelda: Waaaah I don't want to do this.
Zelda: Waaaah stop following me around.
Link: Bitch pls

Anyone else have crazy issues following the love note down the river?

It got stuck under this big enemy structure where there was crazy fast current. I died a few times, luckily I didn't have to restart the quest. Eventually I just got super frustrated and threw a bomb at the blockage and it worked! I was sure it was gonna destroy the barrel.

150 tries in a row and still haven't gotten a special Amiibo weapon to drop.

The special weapons seem pretty rare from the Link Amiibo. Not seen Sword from 8-bit link but when I was trying for the white tights of windiness I got the WW Boomerang like 4 times in a row.

I didn't even know Ganondorf gave a weapon until I saw that image list (and then got it the first time I used it after seeing that).

Has anyone let people who are usually not gamers play this game yet? My brother's gf who is hardly a gamer at all seems to be really enjoying this. I was concerned that she might struggle with the controls and the game might seem a bit too intimidating.

Haven't started playing yet. Been distracted by Horizon Zero Dawn and work.

Now that people have been playing and finished this, where does BotW fit in the Zelda timeline? Wind Waker right? :p

Considering you can only scan each amiibo once a day, I don't see how this can be true. Additionally I have scanned amiibo with exclusive items 5 times and gotten 2.

Mipha's design is dope, but man her personality and voice acting is right up there with Zelda and Revali as trash tier. The other two champions are pretty alright, especially the Goron dude (and I normally think Gorons are dumb). I really love the Old Man on the Great Plateau, too.

Either that one or the downfall timeline.

It's
so far in the future it's hard to say for sure, but I'm seeing some people say it's in the downfall timeline for some reason.

I don't think it particularly matters. Much like the timeline in general lol.
