Your weapons are too weak.
You're using bad weapons? You're battling poorly? The combat shrines are trivially simple once you become comfortable with parries and flurry rush.

I really don't get people getting mad about the Gerudo hideout section. It's almost hysterically easy once you figure out that
You miss some loot using this method but it's all gems you can just get elsewhere anyway.
it's a whole 2 rooms and you can pretty much skip the second one if you go up the ladder, climb around the side onto the rafters above and distract the guard at the door with a banana from above

I was thrown off by how much more complicated Naboris was compared to the others, I thought it would be similar length.

Talk to people at night. Not sure if you have to beat the dungeon first or not.
Wait people don't like this part? I loved it! It was pretty funny and random. I normally dislike stealth sections, but I enjoyed this one.

Two weeks and 55+ hours in, I find myself thinking even more about this game when I'm not playing it. At about the week mark, there were moments where I thought it didn't have the steam to carry through, but with each passing day, I discover something cool, and it all came to a head yesterday as I ventured somewhere new and came upon something that just made every hair on my body stand on end. Y'all know what I'm talking about.

30 hours in, I just did my first dungeon, Zora. Yikes, where I felt like I was unlocking more of it, it went straight to a really easy boss fight. I've fought harder regular enemies than that, and played better shrines than the entire dungeon. So far my only disappointment with this masterpiece.

What exactly are those things? Does it allow you to trick the switch into thinking it's any amiibo or something?

Other side of the wall..... is where you shall go...... where one of girl sits.... you must be opposite of.... and not the obvious one... but the OTHER one.... took me a while because I kept hiding above and by the obvious girl waiting for the Listen prompt but it never came. Lol

More than a few complaints about it. I thought it was funny and clever. And I even died a few times!
Plus, it's not really forced stealth if you're willing to get good at dodging. It's not an easy room to clear the old fashioned way, but it's definitely doable. Just pick off the archers, and then abuse bombs and stasis for the big gorilla types.
I understand the want for the mixing up of aesthetics, especially when you can comfortably play the game for so long. I find the puzzles so engaging, I'm kind of scheming as soon as I walk in. I don't even have any issues with the gyro puzzles. I've been reading about the golf shrine for so long, when I got there, I triggered a blood moon to stock up on hammers. Had 6 going in, came out with 5.

I'm starting to get frustrated by not being able to find shrines. I'm looking at parts of my map where there's nothing discovered and the closest warp point is far off and assuming there must be a shrine hidden there. But then I stomp around for two hours and the sensor never beeps and I can't find anything out there.
This is what I was afraid of. Since there's no in-game hint system for shrines, I might be forced to check a map.

1) it backs up your Amiibo save and allows you to install a different save on the same Amiibo. I guess that lets you use an Amiibo more than once a day
2) no you can't trick Switch into thinking it's a different Amiibo
The newer white model comes with a coin thing that lets you write data to it and spoof any amiibo you want. Which is how people already have the fierce diety items in BoTW.

Done a lot and am not even remotely close to being bored. I won't pay Ganon a visit until I get all shrines done. Still discovering and learning new things. Still have a few mysteries to uncover.

The hints comes from talking with people. Quite a lot of them are well hidden and needs you to do something to reveal it.
Fight the urge... you can do it! I havent done the Gerudo beast or Gorons, but I have done the necessary quests to get inside. Im at 100 shrines, about 150 korok seeds and I have about 3 shrines that are found but not completed yet. Man, I really wanna savor this game and don't want the exploration to end. Hard to believe theres 15 or 20 shrines I havent found yet. Theres a shrine in Hebra region near the northeast area that I can hear the sensor, but cant find the mfer. Got the snowball one, so its not that one.
Except there is an hint system. I don't have proof, but I'm convinced that all shrines that doesn't make your detector beeping have NPCs that explain how to find them (or large wall writings).
Half of the time, I found the NPC after the shrine, and there's at least two shrines for which I haven't found a NPC, but I'm not that often in villages and horse relays.
Just look at characters that have a red (!) near their names, if you don't want to talk to everyone...
Edit: about hints, I wish I could replay some dialogs, because I forgot what the woman who has lost a horse said about

I talk to everyone. I've found lots of shrines that way - some as formal quests and some just as hints. The places I look, like near the Lanayru East Gate or in the tropical cliffs of south Faron, don't have people to ask. Maybe there's nothing out there, but it seems unlikely there is nothing near the Peak of Awakening or between the lakeside stable and the fishing village.
But I can't find anything out there for the life of me. Not in the way of shrines, anyway.

I'm avoiding getting the last part for as long as I can because I'm like you, once I beat the final boss I don't get the want to return to the game to finish side quests

Make a fire and camp to change the time of day. Some regions have permanent rainy weather until you finish missions.
Did you upgrade your slate?
You can buy it right now on the e-shop. You can get a switch T-shirt in game today. In the summer some content will drop. Then in the fall the rest of the content will drop.

l only have 12 shrines left to find and it's getting pretty tough. l suspect a few of them are in Gerudo highlands which sucks because Gerudo highlands suck. l really don't want to go back to that place.
I still can't find the freaking tower in this area lol

I'm not sure that the hidden shrine I found around there was technically in the Gerudo Highland, but that's one of my favorite findings... Not a hard puzzle, but still really, really satisfying.
I don't really understand the dislike for this part of the map, there's a lot of really strange places there, a couple I still wonder what they're for.

I need the Gerudo Divine Beast terminal guide though. These last two terminals are making me cry. Can't reach them.
