Yeah, it was. Unfortunately their ambition outweighed what Saban (or Disney, can't remember which side of the transition it was) were willing to pay. So the crew had to go to Bandai to get money to help finish and put the episode out to air, at which point they said, "Only if it's a single episode, and you advertise a new toy."

Guess what got introduced the episode prior.
