I don't understand the trouble losers go to intentionally spoil things for others. What benefit do they gain

Well, I presume it's a protest about not being allowed to use the share features.
Blame Atlus for being dumbasses and having shitty policies.
Punishing other fans really doesn't seem justified, though.
I doubt it would be this bad if Atlas didn't lock down sharing and streaming in a draconian manner.I don't understand the trouble losers go to intentionally spoil things for others. What benefit do they gain

It's a shame, but it is the best way to show Atlus how regressive and counter-productive their policies are. Their shitty excuse "we don't want people to be spoiled" doesn't work. The game has been out for fucking 7 months already and people spoiling wasn't a fucking issue.Punishing other fans really doesn't seem justified, though.
And it's still ATLUS fault.this is pretty uncalled for, innocent fans shouldn't be in the crossfire because of a company policy they may or may not agree with,
Yeah, Atlus Japan has absolutely no idea what reverse psychology is.
Yep, this is definitely in retaliation to the policy Atlus JP is putting in place. Sucks for any fans who tweeted them though.
It's a shame, but it is the best way to show Atlus how regressive and counter-productive their policies are.
Those aren't mutually exclusive.

Wait why are people mad at Atlus?

Blame atlus for people responding to their policies doing exactly what those policies are for?Blame Atlus for being dumbasses and having shitty policies.
Japanese companies in general don't seem to understand streaming.
This isn't the first Japanese games that blocks streaming features, although most of the time the really harsh restrictions get removed in the localized versions. But many games still keep that thing where they block the streaming during cutscenes, which is batshit stupid.
Threatening users with copyright strikes that can close an entire channel is also a garbage, shithead thing to do.No, it's not at all. The best way to show Atlus how shitty their policies are is to tell Atlus how shitty their policies are, and to either vote with your wallet by not buying the game or by breaking their policies and streaming anyway. Ruining the game for innocent fans is a garbage, shithead thing to do.
Their policies don't include the blocking of spoilers being tweeted on Twitter, but nice try i guess. You know the only fucking thing their policy results in? More spoilersBlame atlus for people responding to their policies doing exactly what those policies are for?
Yeah, that's gonna prove them.
I don't support spoilers, but expect them. I also do not support Atlus making threats to streamers.
This is absolutely ridiculous. People's sole intent is to just ruin it for others.
and now they've automated it?!
Threatening users with copyright strikes that can close an entire channel is also a garbage, shithead thing to do.
Again, the shitty ass excuse they came up with was "we don't want people to get spoiled". This is literally the exact representation of why the excuse is shit and doesnt work.

Do you work for Atlus? Man, you are full on the Atlus defense force lately.
Playing devils advocate, {let it be clear I loathe spoilers}, isn't censorship a far greater crime than the potential ruining of a bit of fun?
Well, I presume it's a protest about not being allowed to use the share features.
Pretty shitty thing to do. Guess I'll have to avoid mentioning it period.
I dunno, I heard about this happening earlier this morning before the Atlus blog post went up.

The bots have been set up for days and days, folks. Not actually a response to Atlus' announcement today.
Spoiling people who have nothing to do with anything isn't a form of protest it's a form of being a piece of shit and this has been going on before this stuff came out. There is no defense for what people are doing if you want to protest it don't buy the game or complain to Atlus.Well, I presume it's a protest about not being allowed to use the share features.
