Quite a lot more than you'd think.

Since PC gaming is actually a thing in China, Falcom has exclusive deals with Chinese companies to port their games to PC.

For example, Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero has a PC version made by the Chinese company Joyoland which Falcom repurposed and released in Japan, but Joyoland's PC port of Trails of Azure, the sequel to that duology, has a PC port which is still China exclusive.

Ys Seven also got a Chinese exclusive PC version by the same company, as well as a PC version of Ys Celceta (both have hella Chinese DRM on them.)

They also get first dibs on translations, and when I was in China I saw many Falcom titles in Chinese on game store shelves.

No, China doesn't have PC versions of the Cold Steel games, but since consoles are now unbanned they won't have a problem playing them.

Yes, extremely popular due to having Chinese localization on PC starting from Trails in the Sky more than ten years ago. Many people (especially the PC crowd) regard it is the best RPG series.

Well...as a Trails fan myself I'll take the results with a pinch of salt...

I mean Dengeki polls are always focused on the "what's hot at the moment" and the start of the Cold Steel 3 marketing blitz might have been a factor.

It's been ages since we heard about Final Fantasy 7 remake so understandably interest might have cooled off a bit until we get new info, while the poll was probably conducted some time before Square Enix had their DQ11 launch date event. By that I mean if it was conducted sometime after that, the results might have been quite different

Probably will sell the least of the trilogy in Japan, given the sales of the first two skewing more toward portable than console. Seems presumptive to say it will sell the worst worldwide, given that the localized versions of the previous two games released at the end of the life of said console and on a portable that's effectively dead outside of Japan.
