8.5 for me. Pretty solid

I think Ubisoft's was better and I give that an 8.5. I'd rate Sony's like a 7.5 or so. About on par with Microsoft. Again, really similar to E3 2014. Where Microsoft and Sony were both meh but Nintendo's was really good except now it's Ubisoft too.

Spiderman demo was fantastic. Great fluid fighting, and swinging traversal looked amazing.

Too many quicktime events, but I imagine that only happens in certain story missions.

That was alright, in terms of what I actually want to play it probably had the most games and the presentation was the best, but down compared to the last 2 years on both fronts.

It's what I kind of expected. They'd show more of all the games they have in they pipeline.

Spidey looked really fun. An arkham/uncharted like showcase. That city swinging was pretty nuts.

I'm sure gaf will hate it. Hahaha

Yeah, I'd say Sony was a 7/10 this year, about on par with the rest of the major players. For whatever reason, everybody's just meh this year, aside from Bethesda, who had a press conference about literally nothing, without even the crazy of Devolver Digital to bring to the table.

PC Gaming Show literally had the only stuff relevant to me, unless OG Xbox backwards compatibility comes to PC.

Not too much cringe or fuck ups though, which is a massive improvement over past years.

It feels like lots of developers have either kept their head down or kept their cards close to their chest this E3. Everything is 2018.

7/10 from me. Even Sony couldn't salvage this E3.

Positives:

God of War looks awesome.
Day's Gone showed much more, and i'm excited for it.
Horizon DLC
Continues the Games, Games, Games tradition.

Negatives:

Almost zero release dates.
Very few new announcements.
Stream issues.

So ultimately:

Ubisoft - 8.0
Microsoft - 7.5
Sony 7.0
Bethesda 4.0
EA 3.0

Disappointing E3.

Mainly showing games that are far out has to catch up to you some day.
Next year will have more new stuff again.

Yeah, they've done it to themselves really. I'm surprised they weren't able to snag another early announcement though.

Woof, Sony boned it. Felt shorter than usual, almost everything was a known quantity, and the stage theatrics were completely unnecessary. I don't think Days Gone needed the demo if I'm being perfectly honest.

Microsoft definitely had a better showing. I don't think Nintendo will top it tomorrow, honestly, which is quite an underwhelming place to be.
