Seems like a good price unless it's REALLY content light.

I have nothing but goodwill towards Horizon so I'll definitely pick this up down the line. It wasn't a perfect game but it felt earnest and like a project of passion, so I can overlook some of its small imperfections.

I loved Horizon, Platinumed it even, but I think I'll wait and see how much content there is in this DLC.

If there's something that pushes the narrative forward, which I doubt, I'll get it. But if it's only more activities and some sidequests in a new setting... I think I'll pass. I spent 40 or so hours with this game. I don't need more filler when there are other things to play.

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes. More aloy =

Do we really need to talk like if we were on Twitter? :/

I don't care what the game is about, the game's visual presentation and characters and combat are a blind automatic buy for me.

Too little, too late imo.

And not even standalone for those whose copy of the game is, or will be long gone by the time it comes out.

That artwork would make for an acceptable retail box...

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
Platinum'ed and will definitely be buying this before day 1. But not pre ordering right now. Will see if there's some kind of deal later down the line before actual release.

Oh boy I'd better hurry up and preorder so I can make sure they don't sell out of all the digital copies before it comes out!

Do we know how long the PS+ discount lasts? Don't see an end date. Might as well wait for more info before preordering... but it's pretty much a lock that I'm getting this day one. Horizon was amazing and this DLC looks... too good to be true? From the little details we have, it sounds like everything I want, and that's such a low price for that that I'm kinda worried it'll be an hour long.

Not necessarily. Witcher 3 Blood and Wine was $20 and that was a massive expansion. Different developer of course, but $20 doesn't mean it's small by any means. We just don't know yet.

This is true, and Guerilla seems to be taking pages out of CDPR's book, which I'm sooooooooo ok with.

Hype keeps rising.

Should've released with the main game and been 30 more hours of content.

Lots of people spent 30-80 hours in a single playthrough. If you honestly believe what you're saying, then you are the kind of person who always needs more and is never happy. The game that launched is more than worth the $60 retail price for the content it offers.

Unless I'm misunderstanding your point, which I hope I am.

yarp. That the reveal showed nothing new (beyond another icy-looking region) didn't exactly serve to fill me with confidence. Even her armor was from the base game, ffs.

I imagine they used the armor to convey...

To people who played it that the game takes place after the ending.

There's (at least) two new machines shown in the trailer. But sure, continue the 'no new machines, no sale!' bitching :).

I'm excited for the new machines

And I hope this dlc be integrated well with the game especially the map, etc and not a stand alone kinda thing. The base game is required so fingers crossed

Wat?

The game was released in March (Feb 28th)...

Many were expecting the first expansion likely in early 2018.
Wish we knew the exact date though.

Guess you'll have to wait for the Goty edition.
