Widescreen fix for BGE is so beautiful. Had to use one of the compatibility options to make it not run like ass and I also initially had a problem with it complaining about missing EAX, which was solved by running the settings app through uplay, as opposed to straight from the game folder. It installed some extra stuff and worked.

Wonderful.

32GB of RAM. Let it try.

So... You figured out how to make the game not have crazy texture flickering? Because that's my problem. I either have terrible performance, or terrible texture flickering.

I am trying to think if there is something more difficult/annoying in life then trying to sell steam cards. You think Valve would want to make it easier as it is literally free money for them.

Step 1: individually sell each steam card
(I know there are "scripts" to sell mass cards but neither Steam Inventory Helper or Steam Economy Enhancer work for me as I have more than 1000 cards and it just breaks)
Step 2: Log on to your app and individually click on each card and say "Yes I want to sell them". Make sure you dont click too many before clicking sell or it will crash and you will have to do it again.

/end rant

Well PC/PS4 ver. would be having better performance.
In the mean time you could go about clearing your backlog til then :p

The ex+ version has a lot more content, it doesn't just run better. Same with Ys VIII.

I know I'll be waiting, can't justify double dipping

Will this game and YS 8 require a lot of specs? or will be like other vita ports which aren't that heavy on requirements?

Since the ex version will be both ps4 games, I don't know how big was the improvement in graphics, or if was just a better framerate and more content

Don't see KoFXIV anywhere in the top seller lists

I think improvements are very minor if any, specially on Tokyo Xanadu
I only remember Ys VIII having some foliage in some areas in the PS4 version don't know what else is there

Should probably still perform similar to other Vita games imagine

This is still Falcom after all and those were ports that were gonna sell less than the Vita versions so I doubt they were improving graphics too much

well, with that price, the fuck were they thinking?

The game sold fine in its first day, considering how the beta went on, the real release was last month, today is was another day to said that the game was done.

Speaking of it, I hope that they did some performance improvements on the game this last 2 days, but I'm not holding my breath

if you ignore someone, do you still see their threads?

Which program are you using to idle for cards? I haven't used idle master for quite some time and when I tried to run on my new pc it says Steam isn't running, even though it is being executed.

Noice, Paradox. Any other price hikes you might want to do?

I noticed this yesterday and I was wondering what happened. Of course it's the price hikes. Paradox games became more than twice as expensive as they used to be in my region. That sucks.

Idlemaster, and lately the bug has been working everytime I open (although pressing next 500 times is really annoying).

Putting the cards on the market is the hard part.

World 4 in Snake Pass is some Dark Souls level shit. Like give me at least an easier longer route to go through, and keep the main route for speedrunning etc.

Same with with Tyranny, some price hike happened and the recent reviews tanked. That's going to hurt the game in other regions as well, rather stupid. But that's what you get for working with a publisher.

At least Paradox actually owns the Tyranny IP. The Obsidian game that really suffers unjustly is PoE 1. Feargus was already talking about self-publishing Deadfire so I wonder if this helps make that decision.

Is it still needed to idle for 2 hours before cards start to drop? I fixed idlemaster no recognizing steam running by executing idlemaster as admin.

Seems to be the protest-vote de jure for disgruntled Steam users these days.

In only the past month I've seem some of my absolute favorite Steam games crater in User Reviews for some perceived slight within the community.

The Long Dark - Down-voted for a countdown timer that revealed the 1.0 launch date.

EU4/CK2 - Down-voted for raising prices in some regions that have traditionally paid less.

Fallout 4 - Down-voted as Bethesda brings talk of paid mods.

GTA V - Down-voted as Take Two shuts down a popular modding service/engine.

Honestly, going to these store pages and seeing nothing but a sea of red thumbs down makes me simply not trust the User Review system anymore. Oh, it also makes me embarrassed for the number of entitled man-babies out there throwing Internet tantrums.

I've no interest in wading in with my personal take on these topics, but it is really sad to see gaming communities destroying themselves from the inside out. Those reviews affect sales and when you have smaller titles like The Long Dark getting knocked down pegs, by users with hundreds of hours invested in the game no less, and losing sales in the process...well that's just sad to witness.

Only if you asked for a refund.
If you never did or did so a long time ago, you do not have that restriction on your account.

Its the same as down votes because the game didnt run.

Like that doesnt help anyone, youre not reviewing the game.

For you.

The scripts work fine, I'd know since I have like 4000 cards. You have to try do it in batches. Also, you can only have 250 items for sale at a time.

actually it helps a lot . I'd like to be informed if the game has issues running or if the publisher is a complete fuckhead about modding. Both are valid reasons to dowbvote.

Recent reviews are handy for that precise reason. In Paradox's case, the scummy pricing updates are a major strike against them; it's pure greed.

Like, they're handy as a snapshot in time. Abandoned Early Access games have a ton of recent reviews letting people know they're abandoned, or were pushed out unfinished; MMOs give a reflection of what the current version are like; and for older games it's good for figuring out modern OS stability, etc. In this era of Games as a Service™, life without them is unimaginable (ok, you'd just go to the forums, but still... extra click!).

All of a sudden I can't log into the client anymore because it's always crashing without giving me a crash report, it's either closing down imeditely or want's my password and then closing down after that, can't even get to the offline mode.

Someone had this happen before?

EDIT:
Renaming "ClientRegistry.blob" to "ClientRegistryOld.blob" seemingly did the trick.... weird

Scripts aren't working correctly for me either. I did have around 1500 cards, and I wasn't able to select any for a bulk sale (even selecting just 2 of them wouldn't work).

However, I did go through and list them all individually in the past day or two, as the little shortcut buttons added by the Economy Enhancer did work (i.e. the green buttons that have a certain price you select and it automatically lists it). Those worked just fine, and while it's not as quick as bulk listing, it's still far quicker than the normal.

Weird. Dishonored 2 demo got a small update. Do you know what did it add or change?

Bringing it in line with the current build of the full game, I'd guess. This is the first time Bethesda has updated the demo since releasing it back in April and the game even today still has a notoriously poor reputation.
