Sure. But I still wonder why they need to be so large when they are allegedly such minor fixes.

I'm not saying there's a conspiracy here. I'm talking about the actual technical details of the update. Like, what they are modifying, how it's compressed, etc.

I'd also love to read or watch a deep dive on what these stability/performance updates entail. I wish Digital Foundry had a side channel that was all just deep dives and in depth super low level analyses and explanations for those of us who want to really nerd out.

Well, whatever that update did, My pro doesn't like it. First restart and it told me to insert a USB key with firmware on it - next it loaded but hung after loading the desktop + Theme, and now it's just hung on the blue screen before the theme loads...

Not happy with this!

i'm getting tired of these. why can't they lump all these stability/performance updates together and put them out once a month or something? i hate having to update my PS4 so often. can i at least postpone it or is it required to access online?

3 or 4 Quality updates in a row, I think its safe to say the Stability updates are over. Gifs need to be retired.


O/T: THey really need to release a fix for the VR breakout box not going to sleep with the PS4 in standby mode. ANyone has a fix for it. I just keep it disconnecting until Im ready to play it for now

All of these performance updates and scrolling around the UI is still janky on all consoles, that can run some games at 60fps. It's a bit of irony. And probably just lack of effort in that department to make the UI stick to 60.
