Bernie Sanders is literally the most popular politician alive.
No one is saying that because the Democratic party needs him and his base, especially in regards to independents.
Hillary has no movement, she has no supporters.

These guys lost to GEORGE W BUSH, a singularly terrible president. So obviously they were losers with nothing to contribute to society. Naturally, the activist base demanded their silence forever onwards and refused to hear any explanations for the losses in 2000 and 2004 that weren't the personal shortcomings of the candidates. After all, both were undeniably "flawed"

I didn't knew about the thing that you mentioned, so i did some research and found this article from POLITICO that largely supports your point , nevertheless i believe you are channeling your animosity towards Sanders instead of doing it towards his voters is not that he didn't tried to speak to minorities.

I don't think Trump was unbeatable but I think we can all agree that a lot of the things he said and did would have sunk other candidates.

Current supporters, her approval rating is worse then Trump's.
He's not a US politician.
They've been doing that for decades and been losing elections constantly.
It was Obama's push towards leftism that got him a sweeping victory.
But would you really consider them a huge enclave of supporters when so many of them voted for her simply as a better choice then Trump, but not because they necessarily supported her.
Actually I'm not sure what my point is in any of this.
I just hope her book doesn't boil down the blame to just Comey, Russia and Bernie, when she ran an awful campaign herself and made amateurish mistakes that people called her out on and ignored throughout her entire 2016 campaign.

Obama made a lot of missteps with the DNC/OFA and with deck-clearing for Clinton it's important that the party learn from going forward.

Several states have open primaries, meaning they were open to everyone registered to vote, and Clinton won more of those than Sanders did.
