I opened 13 chests. 8 common, 3 rare, 2 epic. Got two legendary and they were both legendaries I already had. There's some nice new portraits in, though.

Also nice to see they put up bundles with multiples of each new skin tint-wise. The Garrosh bundle is missing a few tints, didn't check the ETC/Anub/Li-Ming ones. Still a bit salty you can't pay gems for the mount separately like you can Garrosh's Mad Axe skin, though. His Blackrock skin is aces,I don't even really need the Mad Axe skins (which are also p good) with that but was forced to get them to get the mount.

Wrecking Ball is a cool idea for an ability but its implementation is clunky. The mark should bias towards heroes instead of minions but half the time I'm tossing minions around instead of grabbing the enemy hero that's in the target radius.

It's neat when it works and you pull someone in and toss them into your fortifications.

Per the devs, it's a deliberate choice in order to give your opponents counterplay by hugging the minions and making it hard to toss them. I'm guessing it was really obnoxious in laning phases otherwise to have a super-reliable Q->E combo when fighting midlane

Also creates a bit of a counter to Garrosh in summoner heroes.

Garrosh is fun as fuck.

I don't know how much of a main tank he'll be, even with high armor he seems to sort of melt, but he's fantastic at isolating people and putting them into horrible positions. Once you learn to sort of game the mark system for for targeting players, it becomes super easy to lob someone into your forts or team, even when they're standing in or near a mob.

5 stacks should only play 5 stacks.

Also Garrosh toss into Xul root is evil.

Garrosh toss into Zeratul VP, into Mosh Pit, into Ring of Frost, into acenstraled by Rehgar, into Gravo bomb, into Sulfuras Smash, into Octo Grab, into Apocalypse stun, into Abathur slap..... revived by Auriel

Saw toss into stukov e and malf e, pretty good

In my head his main counter is medivh but he also can camp portals for tosses so i dunno

I had a few games yesterday where the opposing Garrosh kept tossing me into his back line to setup wicked divine storms lol.

The opposite of this is also really nice. (Throwing your Uther into their back line)

Varian with smash just ruins Garrosh.

Hm maybe, i just feel like it's nuts to have two tosses. Like u toss in a hard cc, guarantees a q/e followup and there is very little counterplay. But for sure it's more fun to have them on separate cds

The armor duration is pretty long too, like you can legit just use the toss to buff a hero. You get lvl 13 illidan with 50% armor with toss and thats not counting any love from bw or uther

Garrosh Q+E combo can be as disruptive as Stiches hook.
Now we just need a ranged DPS hero as annoying as Genji to have a balanced comp on both sides.

I still haven't found a counter to Garrosh outside of being a ranged hero, lateral movement to avoid the pull and/or having decent positioning. So far I don't mind being Dehaka versus Garrosh but most Garrosh comps I've run into go for toss into root versus hard stuns. You can burrow and regen to dodge some of the follow-up and stand a decent chance, pre-16, of escaping. Once you get Burrowing Claws you can escape most, if not all, toss/root wombos.

Garrosh is kind of a jerk. You try to hit towers as melee and he'll throw you behind the gate to die before you can see him ~_~

the trick seems to just be range awareness yeah, and decisiveness i guess. i didnt play againt him a lot but stepping forward during his cast usually worked, but that's not really something you want to be doing too much of I'd think, since garrosh will just catch on and walk up and throw you

I'm not sure who asked for a Garrosh announcer, but (assuming Kel'Thuzad really is coming next or soon), I super hope we get a Kel'Thuzad announcer. I'm not sure I'd ever use anyone else as my announcer.

14 new empty slots on the character screen

eek, xp without stimpack ;_;

Stukov is fun, Thrall is not. I really continue to dislike Thrall :/

The Thrall rework does not seem to have been much of a success. He's better (i think?) but still I don't see much of a reason to pick him.

Yeah, it's just ranged. Chromie chunks him, so does Li Ming. Just need to focus on hitting the big hits when he's low, because he refuses to die sometimes.

Plus, as mentioned in his spotlight video, his trait doesn't reduce damage of percentage-based damage. So if you're looking for melee characters that can counter Garrosh, Malthael and Leoric are easy choices.
