This Uzi is hype on first listen and falls off of a cliff on the second listen as a lot of it is kind of tiring/mediocre to get through. It's kind of like, good song, bad song all the way throughout. Or at least there are parts of the bad songs I like (I GOT R&B SINGERS) and then the verses be wack or vice versa a lot of the time. Weird sequencing in general. Could've used more features to offset (no pun intended) Uzi in general TBH, I feel he needs that sometimes.

Two®, Sauce It Up, The Way Life Goes, UnFazed, Early 20 Rager, Pretty Mami, Neon Guts, How To Talk, X, Dark Queen, and XO Tour Llif3 are the good.

I think I'll only really listen to Two®, Sauce It Up, Pretty Mami and XO Tour Llif3 which are my highlights. And maaaaybe UnFazed, X, & Dark Queen.

Don't get it twisted, it's net good, and probably something you can throw on in it's entirety, but there will be frequent eye rolling or whatever songs I feel because it's inconsistent.

Sauce it down (sauce it up)
Do too much (do too much)
Ain't enough (ain't enough)
Ain't enough (ain't enough)
Where you from (where you from)
Throw it up (throw that shit up)
Goin nuts (yah)
Goin dumb

Anyone else take over features like the weeknd? Literally makes the song his lol
IIRC a lot of the times that's happened up until recently now that Weeknd has started doing more features, they've been Weeknd's songs to begin with.

TBH it is the worst. We really out here trusting Carti to close out a song??? Put that trash in the front of the track not the back
Uhh...so I'm noticing a trend here, I legitamately think A$AP Mob is putting Carti on songs because they are friends.

Dude is ruining tracks.

Like, The Mattress (Remix) is flames until Carti hops on.

Last two days I've had a really good time with the following:

BROCKHAMPTON
Wiki
Action Bronson
The War on Drugs
A$AP Ferg (I'm late)

Good ass weekend for music.

new wiki is good
new uzi is solid, the weeknd joint is certified banger

lol im not listening to an a$ap mob tape

Pretty much. There's a few bangers on the uzi album.

New ferg is good tho. War on Drugs album is great.

Still gotta listen to xxx and Bronson.

Have a feeling I'll actually really like the xxx one after getting into lil peep for a little while now

Carti stinks. I skip to lil uzi on wokeuplikethis, and skip his verse on mad man too

Glad I started using Spotify. I prefer listening from the stuff on my hard drive, but I found out one of my favorite artists released an album this year through it. I looked her up earlier this year on YouTube and nothing new came up, but it was the first thing I saw on Spotify.

Wants to outlaw technological innovation.
Both shocking developments.

Man Swift is releasing her album this year? Grammys are shit.. but either her or Lorde snatching Kendrick's Grammy.
She's releasing her album in November, long past the date to compete with Kendrick. Also Lorde ain't winning anything, she's an indie artist now.

Kendrick could win, he had a very successful single and album (something TPAB didn't have). He's also owed for that album not winning. However, if anything he will be going up against Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars for Grammy AOTY.

Hahaha this is hilarious, some of the cognitive dissonance people are gonna go through will be fun to watch unfold.

Man the beat on this Kodak Black song is dope.

Man, that whole mixtape is great aside from 3-4 tracks. Kodak is unstoppable right now, that house arrest has him focused. His new single Fuck It is flames too.

17- Actually pretty successful, less screamo/pseudo hardcore than some of his mixtape tracks. It's really hard to hate on someone who seems to genuinely be outpouring so much emotion even when it does venture into cringe territory at times. He made a really good choice keeping everything so short and concise. He's more successful rapping over slow mellow beats, the contrast of these really melodical tracks with the subject matter keeps things interested, also his ability to genre hop into grunge/emo territory with the choral structure really adds quite a lot. Its definitely a tortured soul type of affair and as cheesy as his introduction sounded I think it does capture what you're going to get and who should probably stay away. This is that Vorheez type of shit.
Fav Tracks: Fuck Love (Trippie Redd, YES!), Revenge, Everybody Dies, Jocelyn Flores

Ok ok, I see you Des, after kenny's blessing and this review I guess I'll have to check it out. I really don't fuck with xxx but I'm always open to give something an honest listen. I'll check it out tonight

Yeah, Uzi was disappointing. Kodak will get more spins.
My man

Yeah after the corny as fuck intro/album cover, wasn't expecting what I got out of the album; legit emotion to his voice and decent lyrics most of the way through.

His voice is better than the average rapper doing a sing songy album too; really light auto-tune most of the way through.

Yeah, you can't fault the girl for trying to take advantage of her newfound fame. I doubt she wrote all of it herself, but it's still a catchy song, and certainly a good first effort from a 14 year old girl. Thumbs up 👍

I'm seeing most people claim that Saturation 2 is better than one, but I'm not feeling it nearly as much.
Wonder what I'm missing, at minimum I can tell that I don't like the atmosphere of the album as much, the production is "bouncier" and just feels louder to me (in a not good way), doesn't also reach the heights of "1" from the intro on.
Gonna listen to it some more though.
I definitely love Teeth and Summer though.

Yeah, I feel the same. Definitely some diminishing returns for me.

Key! Should've been on cozy tapes way more man at least the songs he's on are great. They should've cut like 5 or 6 songs and album would've been better imo.kinda disappointed after liking the first one so much

Yeah, I definitely prefer Saturation to Saturation 2. Sooo many throwaway songs (imo) on 2.

i want a solo tape from brockhampton's ameer vann

Ameer is my fav but idk how solo careers would pan out for any of these guys. Their dynamic together is the only reason I personally listen to them. Can count on Ameer and Dom to bring solid verses, Merlyn's flow and voice, Kevin's hooks, Jobas/Bears singing...idk. I'm hoping this brockhampton wave continues for awhile longer.
