What does this mean exactly ?
5 different PC within a day machine activation limit

No anime in the STEAM thread.

Only have had couple of hours of the new LiS, but it seems that it has tons of optional things to do compared to the first one or am I just remembering it wrong?

There's more optional stuff sure. Take things slowly and explore, it's more rewarding that way.

Hi SteamGaf I'm new and I'd marry my pc if I could

Welcome but please read the community thread rules. We don't really fancy anime memes/games/pictures here. It's a bannable offense. Welcome :")

I am also fairly new to SteamGAF, so I should probably say hi to everyone here.

My new gaming PC is a beast. Now I know the feeling of driving a super sports car.

Hello ! Welcome to SteamGAF but please read the community thread rules. We're kinda into anime memes/games/pictures here. So we'd appreciate if you got into the train and post anime stuff. Welcome :")

Yeah, I don't think I could get through TiTS without turbo mode. I don't think I would keep playing if I had to slowly walk through the field at half this speed.
Also, apparently the NDA on the Pinball FX3 beta has been somewhat lifted and we can talk about it now? That's cool.

Why shouldn't we be able to talk about it at all, unless you are a beta tester

Man, Just Cause 3 is just depressing me so much. I'm 3 missions from the end of the game and, guess what? I need to set free almost an entire island to unlock those last three missions. It doesn't even make sense, because when you do a story mission no matter how many outposts/bases/cities you cleared out, you will face always the same amount of enemies.

Plus the game is riddled with bugs. I was forced to restart some missions several times, because when I died often the game would spawn me without the airplane I was forced to use in the mission or stuff like that, sometimes I can't operate switches, sometimes you clear all objectives for a mission but instead of triggering the ending cutscenes, nothing happens and you need to restart. Really, between JC3, FFXV and Hitman SE can't release a functional product on D1. At least two of those are getting fixes, but the fact remains, all of them shipped in an horrible status.

It's impressive that you got that far at least. I bought the game during the Summer sale, refunded it within 2h of playtime because of poor performance and crashes, and then spent 2h more during the free weekend. And I thought liberating cities got old within that playtime.

I've played JC2 for 16h, and I didn't get the same feeling of everything being busywork in that, like I got from JC3, even if JC2 is pretty repetitive in it's core as well.

Eh, my problem is usually when I start a game I "force" myself to beat it. I thought JC3 would get better, but really the stuff you do in the first hour of the game is exactly the stuff you do in the end. It's a lazy game, the openworld looks really all the same and there are stupid design decisions like locking power-ups behind optional challenges.

And...PS4. Why SE didn't roll back the patch is beyond me, since it only decreased the performance. If the PC version is badly optimized too, really I don't know why some people praised it so much.

Thank you for the warm welcoming :D

I have posted here a couple days ago, talking about Hitman 2016. It's a freaking great game. Everyone should play it.

Yeah, it's unfortunate that actually finding a used 4790K locally seems an impossible task.
Gotta keep an eye out.

Well price is important point to do that for sure. Also i wonder what's your currently CPU?

Welcome!

No anime in the STEAM thread.

You know even Steam selling anime these days? So no more excuse, right? :p

I'm usually like that as well, having a hard time dropping a game. But it's much easier to do with games like JC3, where you just get a feeling that the publishers and/or devs don't care themselves. If they don't, why should I?

*Denuvo
*Forced attempts to connect to servers for singleplayer.
*Poor performance.
*Uninspired design with cities and tasks given.

I really don't want to be the guy that uses the word lazy about devs, but with every city seemingly contain the same things to take down - statue, speakers, propaganda posters, etc, you get to think about if they actually cared about what they put in the game.

It's not thing that makes you feel engaged.

I kinda liked the cutscenes from what I played though.

I probably put 3 hours total objective based gameplay into the whole series. The rest of the time I'm just blowing stuff up.

Tokyo Dark is now live at the Steam store with a 10% off launch discount, bringing the price to $16.19:

Also even though its Squeenix published, the game doesn't use Denuvo according to the developer.

Got my keys already, now I just need to wait till work finishes and I can finally play it. Hope it's good.

Hopefully they spelled my name right in the credits.

Yeah, that playtime is insane.

If it was just better optimized.

Is it? I got 60 fps on 1080p.

I love playing VN (can read a bit of Japanese), so... I should be fine :p

Anyone else find it weird that no company will review Destiny until after a raid is released?

Like if you are reviewing WoW lets say, will a 3 hour run of Ragnarok change your review? Also in this case assume WoW is a sequel/ expansion to WoW so you already know what raiding is like.

That's just how reviews work in console space. People expect reviews before, at, or shortly after release.

The longer you wait, the lesser you get hits and engagement for your website/content.

After passing certain time frame, people don't care about the game anymore. Therefore, reviewers release them asap.

Yea but no one has released a review yet, which is counter to your point. I dont really care about reviews in general but its fun to watch the review threads.

I thought some have already released them? I saw them over the review threads. Though most are still in progress.

When will the raid hit? My point was that I doubt anyone would wait for that before releasing their review with the final score.

Anyway, to answer one of your questions, a raid would hugely affect my enjoyment and final review if I were to make one.

I think a lot of them are "in progress" waiting for the raid which I am told is next week. I was just going by meta/open critic of zero reviews. Either way I have to wait like 2 months for PC :(
