I think it's alright tbh. The code used to get pushed to my watch, so it's been just a quick glance. And I don't get logged out too often, so I usually just have to use it every two to four weeks. Minor nuisance for the extra protection.

If I didnt get logged out all the time it would be fine but I do. Even on my home personal computer.

Humble Store is having an End Of Summer sale. Since y'all people love your damn Falcom games yet bummed that GOG were selling them for a good price, fear not.

Trails the 3rd is 25% off, making it the all time low so far...even lower with Monthly discount.

Well it is the one title in the TitS trilogy that was the most grueling to work on. I'm pretty sure XSEED is trying to milk as much money out of SC as they can...in which I really don't blame them. I bought SC a while back and yet still haven't started FC.

How did I not know that Wattam had gotten a store page. Ever since the announcement for PS4, it's been one of my most anticipated games, and now that it's on Steam I'm sure to buy it on there day one.

Didn't actually own TWD since I played it through family sharing. Thanks Humble.
The amount of games you get completely free between all the stores/services is pretty great. Just a couple of days ago we got Steamworld Dig from Origin.

Still need to get back to TWD season 1. Started on it last year but only did the first 2 episodes. Kinda feels bad taking so long to finish it especially since they are on season 3 already lol.

How does Tyranny compare to PoE?

I'm finding PoE to be a lot of fun, is it more of the same in a different setting or have they improved certain aspects?

The game's very combat heavy, but there are only 3 different enemy types in the game, which makes fighting feel like a chore quickly.

So if you'd have me make a statement i'd call it a budget related regression compared to PoE.

Outside of that it's mostly the same (save for the spell system) with the difference being that Tyranny is a lot smaller and more focused on replayability.

Tho, the beginning of the game in which you get to decide your character's past is really well done and hopefully revisited in future titles.

A number of people like the world and the characters more than PoE because they are both more exotic and more larger than life, whereas can be Pillars rather staid. Companions are more tied into the narrative. Also some people just enjoy the extent to which you can be an insane person.

On the other side combat is almost universally panned relative to PoE. There's a major lack of combat diversity.

The one thing that's clearly better, enough that it's coming to PoE2, is a lot of contextual highlights in the dialogue to help explain stuff related to past decisions or characters and events your character would already know. So dialogue is way less expository.
