So it's pretty much over, right?

Hey now, hey now don't dream it's over.Pretty much.

James Shaw sounding pretty confident on a three-way coalition.
James Shaw sounding pretty confident on a three-way coalition.
He sounded like he was on his knees giving Winston a bj. They cut away just before he handed over the lube and bent over.
Desperation....
We'll see if it bears any fruition heh. That was cringeworthy at best
Does Winston have to be in power? Straight left and straight right are both far superior.
i mean look at the seat spread. a coalition is necesarry yes, so do the calculations.Does Winston have to be in power? Straight left and straight right are both far superior.
I'm sad, GAF.
Hold me.
So were has labour been getting votes from even though National has not been losing many seats so far overall?
That extra $1000 will go a long way to helping them get through the year.Six kids still creeps me out.
We have time traveled to 1996.Just think a National/NZ First coalition might be a total disaster.
We have time traveled to 1996.
Y'all trying to tell me that the Kiwis, the most laid back and progressive people in Oceania, not only have a conservative government for a *fourth term*, but the balance of power lies with the NZ equivalent of One fucking Nation?!
Fuck.
Conservatives winning all around the world, yay
Collective action is dying off. Everything is about me me me now.
The former Prime Minister was very effective at claiming the middle ground in the political spectrum and really no stranger to U-turns or policy theft from the other side if it was sufficiently popular. And got into power by out-middling Clark, who herself was really good at staking claim to the middle.Y'all trying to tell me that the Kiwis, the most laid back and progressive people in Oceania, not only have a conservative government for a *fourth term*, but the balance of power lies with the NZ equivalent of One fucking Nation?!

They were staring at another Cunliffe / Goff level loss; they're back up above Clark's losing election. The more I think about it, Labour haven't really accomplished much at all. The 10% they gained was pretty much all taken from The Greens. Support for National still hasn't changed since 2008. NZ First might be what we need to finally take votes from National, as Winston will be deputy Prime Minister. And whatever government that ends up being will be an absolute nightmare and in serious trouble come next election
Well, he did actually lose seats compared to last time. Glass half full and all
Out of curiosity, would you guys prefer a National/Act/Green coalition?

Despite being an Act voter
Lol the ACT voter doesnt like Grant Robertson, shocking.
Say what you will about the evening, but I bought Juicies. Juicies are still fantastic.
Also; Ilam, you do know that you can still vote for National without voting for the bellend that fucked the city for the past six years, right?
Piketty himself noted that neo liberalism found itself a much easier host when in English speaking countries. We're (nz) are uniquely compromised as the 84 Labour government was the one that began setting fire to the social state.Y'all trying to tell me that the Kiwis, the most laid back and progressive people in Oceania, not only have a conservative government for a *fourth term*, but the balance of power lies with the NZ equivalent of One fucking Nation?!

Not to the same extent as NZ, Australia still has unions, one can look to the safety of the pike river mine in NZ vurses aust mine safety issues. You can also look at how state and federal governments cracked down on Aussie insuarance firms and the self regulating bullshit inpite of the swaths of non payments during and after the Chch earthquakes.Australia was the same (and Canada?).
NZ introduced new health and safety regulations about two years ago (after Pike), it has had a huge impact on business changes. At the company I work at we have gone from no health and safety employees to at least five. It's been drilled into our way of conducting things, I don't think we go a single day without mentioning it and it is the first topic on business updates with senior management (after all they can now be held personally accountable).
The gap still needs to be closed compared to the rest of the OECD but there has been some very important changes over the last few years, in particular cultural.
Personally accountable by little fines?
A person who contravenes subclause (1) commits an offence and is liable on conviction,
(a)
for an individual, to a fine not exceeding $10,000:
(b)
for any other person, to a fine not exceeding $50,000.
