I need an exotic engram for my last exotic..

Milestones are nightfall and raid. No team to help me.

And then crucible..
If you need a Nightfall just keep an eye out here and on Discord (join Discord if not there.)

Are you part of a clan? If not then join one as they give you at least two more high powered loot rolls. This is the very easiest way to get two more drops a week.

i have all the trials weapons. waiting on the warlock bond then calling it on d2 peeveepeepee

I played a match where my team started with 4 and the other team with 3. Then the other team guys kept dropping out a player (or two) but they would rotate in a player every now and then and its a rowing pack of hyenas just stomping two people who have no clue what is happening. who is this supposed to be fun for? This has been my experience for a significant amount of matches. Both on the receiving and taking end. 4v4 is a mistake. Period.

Saw a Warlock with a Astronaut style helmet the other day. Anyone know where it comes from? Someone said it was a drop on Titan, but not sure what they meant.

At this point I don't think there's any redeeming factor about Destiny 2's PvP. The one I initially stood by - weaker grenades - isn't even that true beyond stickies. The flashbang grenade lasts what seems like three times as long as it did in D1, so you're basically dead if you get hit by it, and the arc pulse grenades are straight up broken. It's like a Lightning grenade that pulses twice as fast and has ten times the area of effect.

Tell me why.
Less chaotic. Encourages sticking together as a team. Highlights the importance of class abilities and everyone's contribution is necessary. It's fun and rewarding to play as a team. I haven't had much trouble with dropouts though I have been dropped into several games. Wasn't a big deal.

Flashbangs and pulse grenades are so damn potent. I miss all the old guns from D1.

Agreed. D1 mp felt like a shotgun/sniper fest with most matches just being players running around like CoD with little to no teamwork. I love the 4v4 more teamwork oriented style now. Also haven't had issues with drop outs so can't speak to that.

I'm not sure I want to condemn it wholesale, however you're on point mostly. My personal grievances is that HC's are mostly not viable. There's a big discrepancy in classes..ie. what does a hunter do at all now that you gave all of their stuff to warlocks?

I also agree with 4v4 not being ideal.

I like it when it works, but expecting randoms to stick around all the time is just nuts, people leave constantly.

They had it perfect in D1 imo.

3v3 sweaty mode.
3v3 non-sweaty mode.
6v6 modes.
6v6 chaos modes.

Just admit you've fucked up Bungie and revert PvP back, or at least give us the option to choose for ourselves, like, y'know, every other game including D1.

I lost count of how many times I threw suppressor grenades and suppressed myself.

Yep. Hello me.

Yeaaaaa

I don't like this game lol, and the laundry list of bad changes to me grows every hour. Pretty much everything they did to the classes, the armor, the weapons and the PvP makes the game way less interesting to me, and I don't feel like shitting up the thread anymore because I imagine most Destiny fans are just gonna disagree. So I'll just concede that Destiny is no longer a game that I want to play or support.

I randomly got something called Commander's Blessing just while ambling around the farm, and it made me glow blue for a few minutes before going away. What the heck was that all about?

I wonder if they added 6v6 pvp while also retaining 4v4 pvp what would happen. All the same modes and everything.
I'm guessing it'll never happen because it would just show how shit 4v4 is.

You feel its less chaotic? I've felt like its two gangs throwing rocks at each other. There's definitely a bigger initiative to sick together. Problem is that people fall apart in seconds.

4v4 is fine, the problem is there is no real casual playlist, no real playlist to just chill and shoot shit because of lower player count and higher timetokill. A single 6v6 playlist would go a long way but the maps are currently way too small to support it (maybe that would be a good idea just for the insanity of it).

I'm a destiny fan who wishes more destiny fans would push Bungie more on these issues. Preach

The more I play of Crucible.. the more I feel it's Teamwork doesn't necessitate rolling in a pack and focus firing.

That's just the easiest way for average players to get kills. A well coordinated team using positioning and intelligent engagement can absolutely wipe out a roaming pack of opposing players.

Packs happen mostly because now that TTK is up reckless Run and Gun sees less success. So players who utilize that have 50/50 chances in a 1v1 and significantly lower chances 1v2. Getting the drop on someone just isn't as guaranteed a kill anymore. So those players pack roam now. They absolutely can be outplayed. It just requires synergy that is rare in PUGs.

I completely understand your grievances. I think you're at a point where you personally need to decide whether this game is worth your time or not.

Dogs' pathing is fine. Get a 60X buff and one cycle them.
I've never gotten stuck.
I got SMG and Scout from Raid, have yet to beat the boss.

Can't really speak to the rest of the points.

Dogs pathing is absolutely not fine when they spawn in your spawn and sometimes get stuck to walls and glitch out all the time. Getting 60 buff is entirely irrelevant to that issue. Loots drops are incredibly rare and not guaranteed like they were post crota in D1. Everyone can agree it sucks only having a small probability to get gear for a time consuming event rather than a guaranteed drop.

Well the game is a lot of different things to a lot of people, so we're not all going to agree on what the "issues" are. Some players prefer the slower tactical pace and flatter maps of the game and I respect the fact that there are different preferences for different experiences. It would at least be more compelling to me if Hand Cannons were more viable weapons - I'd say 3 shot kills across the board. But people who don't like the chaos of Destiny 1 or the fact that anyone can have a power weapon - that was the charm of the game to me. The way the game is now is making me miss Halo instead, because at least that game had vehicles and vertical arenas to go with its tactical gameplay. In Destiny 2, any fun I've had in the Crucible so far would have been 10 times more exciting in Destiny 1.

You make good points but im honestly not sure the 'good' strats are attributed to synergy. Imo they're a consequence of the design.

Sticking with your teammates is not how you win any team game like this. It's never been.

You watch different angles and position yourself in a way to support your teammates. Success in Destiny 2 is based on which team is better at wall glitching and rotating, not which team can hold hands better.

Unless you're playing a bad map like Endless Vale or Altar of Flame and just spawn flipping.

Exactly. 6v6 was a clusterfuck of players running around on their own. I like the balance of 4v4. Teams can easily divide into twos or run together and it feels more personal.
