I would have though Rockstar would be bringing all titles to PC at this point. I would also assume there would be some sort of GTA Online added to this with the success they have seen from GTAV.

How are people coming to the conclusion that the trailer didn't reveal anything new or previously unknown?

If you don't care to know anymore then yeah, this is true.

We now see train robberies, bank robberies, we know our protagonist. We know some supporting characters. We know how it directly ties in to the original game. We know there are bows and arrows. We know locales. We see dual wielding. It's a teaser for a game at least 7 months away.

Trailer looked real good. Is there any hope for single DLC story expansions or is that just a pipe dream at this point due to the success of GTA Online?

You know the name of the character. You know this is about Dutch and his gang and you see way more regarding the world than you did in the first trailer.

It wasn't a story trailer. It was more like another teaser that revealed a bit more.

Maybe I'm spoiled but I feel like the facial animation needs some extra work. Other than that I loved it, it's going to be a beautiful open world. :)

Zero unless they went back and fixed all the code. It's a miracle RDR actually exists, not because of the bugs, but the horrible botched development it had.

Your best bet would be to play it on an Xbox One, it's compatible there

I was thinking of grabbing it. I've already played it through on 360 but someone scratched my disc when I lent it to them.

It's definitely worse than the version you played. Looks washed up and has more aliasing, plus I'm pretty sure it runs worse, as in more frame drops.

Either A) John is in this game and they fucked that trailer up by not letting him be the one to reveal it's prequel nature

or

B) John isn't in the game and they fucked up by doing a prequel without him.

Still incredibly hyped for the game though. LOVED the first one. Best GTA game IMO.

A. It is known that Rockstar is not showing gameplay footage that far from release. No suprise.

B. There was plenty of relevant new information in this Trailer including the reveal of the main character which was unknown before.
If you don't see that you are not really interested in the game afterall I guess.

Guys in the trees and Arthur overlooking the train are very reminiscent of The Assassination of Jesse James. If you're going to borrow cinematography from someone, Roger Deakins is a great choice.

The first game had loads of stolen/inspired by scenes. I have no problem with it, think it worked brilliantly.

Would have preferred to play as someone who doesn't seem like a straight up asshole. Marston was a good balance of good guy guilt tripped by past deeds. I guess I'll have to hope that he's at least likeable.
