Severely unimpressed. Not like it matters much since the plot and gameplay are much more important than how the game looks but... it really looks like GTA5, which was almost cross-gen. Oh well.

I think this might be the first time Rockstar's hype train didn't turn out well in the end. The general impression has been "underwhelming".

They might not be so sure with counting on radio silence driven hype this time.

There's a lot more than just graphics to think about though. GTA 5 had shittier physics than previous gen RDR/GTAIV because of the graphics. Hopefully they improve the endorphin (or whatever it's called now) physics in this game. I want to push people down stairs for hours and hours again.

but also the graphics look fucking amazing wtf is wrong with you all

But this is not true? GTAV looked incredible last gen, the lighting was some dream unseen shit. It's probably one of the best looking games for those consoles and an open world to boot.

Edit: Oh, you meant physics. Carry on.

Euphoria and yes it's likely to be improved. RDR had better Euphoria implementation that even GTAIV because it had the extra headroom to do so. It stands to reason they will have the same benefit here.

Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee control better than RDR. After playing Horizon ZD, I really hope that this was a focus point for Rockstar

He certainly lacks the charisma and gravitas of delivery that John had from the early trailers for the first game.

Also I'm surprised so many people seem to give a shit about Dutch. I thought he was an asshole, though a well written and performed one, but beyond that I wasn't really clamoring to see him again. I'm sure they'll do something interesting though.

I just hope it plays like RDR1 and not GTAV, and that they also have the euphoria physics from MP3/RDR1.

Without that the game will be nowhere near as immersive, the simulation they did for RDR1 was insane. The fidelity of the visuals and the world was mindblowing to me and it still is.

That said I saw a lot of little details that just wouldn't be there if this was a GTA game or even GTAV, so my hope is there at least.

I honestly don't understand people, this game looks like a generation ahead of the Remastered version of GTAV. I was blown away by the visuals in this, along with the return of that fantastic music.

This trailer gives me a lot of hope.

Looks great, i was expecting a bit more out of the animations, but not a big deal. The main character seems off just a bit, kind of like his voice doesn't go with his look or something, like he needs more of a scruffy look, dirty him up a bit, make him look like he's on the run robbing banks ect, but thats just me nit picking.

I think the main thing im underwhelmed about is not playing as a young Marston, but maybe we will.

There is hope as the main character is in the the Dutch gang, im interested to see where they are going with this new character, and why he was never mentioned in the first game? RockStar threw a curve ball at us, def some twist in here. Would be cool if this character is the one who recruits Marston in the gang (my guess is this guy is Marston Uncle, 30-34sec he is talking to young Marston), then the 2nd half you play as Marston. Trailer leaves more questions then it answers. Still,very excited, there are just so many question marks spinning around my head after watching this.

Looks really good. Can't wait! Also I don't think that the game will feature multiple PCs, but it will be similar to GTA IV Lost and Dammed gang, just with horses instead.
