[EU] PSN SALE - 300+ items - 'Only on PlayStation' sale - Nioh, Gravity rush 2, TLG &

I think i've heard back when it came out that it is frustrating at times due to some bad level design choices. Is that true?

I never got that from it? For the most part it's a pretty straightforward platformer. Amazing art and animation, but yeah I do think it's a bit artsy and pretentious for the sake of it.

For anyone with PSVR I highly recommend getting Bound if you don't get motion sickness and can turn the camera to Smooth 2. One of the best VR experiences I've had, absolutely loved that world and spent ages breaking it by going out of bounds to see more.

Magical experience.

If I remember right, the first area you get to play in is very open, and it is possible to go the wrong way and reach a deadend. However, once you get on the right track it is not to complicated, and you just follow ledges and ropes. There is a type of wall jump to learn, which I dont think the game fully tutorialized, but once you understand the mechanic it becomes second nature.

I really liked the game, but you have to be in the right mood for it. There are honestly safer games to try, but if you end up liking Bound you will probbaly REALLY like it.

Is Wipeout Omega good on PRO?

Visuals:

- Quite possibly the most impressive 4K/60 title on PS4 Pro.
- Offers both Checker boarding and native 4K resolution.
- When motion blur is enabled = Checker boarded 4K
- When motion blur is disabled = Native 4K
- Motion blur related checker boarding effects generally 'softer' and can cause visible banding in corners.
- DF recommends turning it off and playing the game in native 4K
- 1080p displays support full down sampling.
- 4X 8EQAA anti aliasing also offered (when Motion Blur is turned off) making the image extremely sharp. AA also carries into the super sampled image.
- New parallax Mapping, new full screen effects like bloom. lens flare and reflection mapping added to this remaster.
- Full HDR support on Base and Pro hardware.

Performance:

- "Superb Locked 60 FPS experience"
- Consistent visual response, no signs of compromises.
- No signs of dynamic resolution drops in 4K mode.

Will definitely get Gravity Rush 2 and Nioh Season pass. I'll skip the PC version of Nioh since it probably won't bring much to the table with the game already being 60 FPS anyway.

Everyone should get the Wipeout HD Collection. Amazing value at full price, insane at that price.

And despite it being just mere remasters of portable and last-gen games, it looks absolutely jaw-dropping in HDR on an OLED TV :)
I think the big draw is that the animation is amazing to look it. The character has weight, and you're in direct control of it. It doesn't do anything amazing other action-adventure / platformers would do, but it makes them look stylish.

It's a great game, and I didn't play it in VR. It's so trippy.

memo to myself withstand the temptation to get the nioh season pass since that money could go towards steamworld dig 2, night in the woods, cuphead or many other things you haven't tried yet instead of putting more time into the super fun grind but insane timesink that is nioh.

Just to let people know, don't buy Bloodborne.
Make sure you buy the GotY version, as the DLC is some of the best content in the entire series, and is essential.

Damn, probably the time to get Wipeout although i know that i won't get further than 1-2 speed classes since i don't have the time anymore to memorize tracks with repeating them 100 times.

It's basically the compilation of 3 games, one being the Vita version.

Ah OK. And then I think the vita one got DLC which was more of this content?

I might pick this up eventually but I have prob played most of this (admitidly fantastic) game already.

Anyone who hasn't played Gravity Rush: Remastered should absolutely do so at that price. Total no-brainer. One of the best games on the PS4. DO NOT skip it and go straight to Gravity Rush 2. That's an inferior game (though still good) and has a lot of story beats and references that you'll miss out on without knowledge of prior events.

The Last Guardian is a de facto masterpiece, but I've seen it cheaper at retail.

Is Nioh deluxe digital worth it? I mean the difference in price is the same than buying the DLC + the normal version... so no price advantage.

Are the DLC game changing or can I skip them?

At the end I will buy:
Nioh
Horizon
VR Wordls

77€... mmm maybe too much? I will consider what I have to play right now before buying...

May have to buy wipeout

It's definitely worth it.
I'm still not a huge fan of HD/Fury (it's not bad, but I only really enjoy playing the Zone mode), but the remaster of the Vita game is really fun.

Before I got it, I assumed it was like a collection of all the tracks and vehicles in one game, but it's basically a HD collection, apart from the fact you don't need to not out of the game to swap to the other one.

Damn it, I want Horizon but I don't want to play it until I get a PS4 Pro and a new OLED TV, and there is a chance that it may be bundled with a new Pro.

Damn it, I want Nioh but the digital version will be patched and the game may be too hard so I would like to use some v1.00 exploits to make it easier. Disc copies are still expensive af here.

I guess I'm not buying anything this time.

Vostok is -60%, €5.99. Great I think to myself. I go to buy it and realize it's not cross-platform and the Vita version is full price.
Pathetic.

Damn it, I can't decide between The Last Guardian or Gravity Rush 2. I already bought Dragon's Dogma this week so getting both of them is out of the question...

Nioh Digital Deluxd (aka complete edition) for 34.99 is a great price considering how well that game has held its price.
