Successfully got everything connected and Im loving this service so far. My only gripes are that none of my Lionsgate movies or movies from other smaller distributors like Amelie and the original Mad Max made the jump and some of my DMA-exclusive bonus clips (from Target exclusives and such) seem to be missing in action.

That said, I've seen wrong prices there before but it's still handy to have them all there so you can click each one and see where it's available.
in theory yes it should work.. I actually have access a second account. the only problem I see is that they "might" blacklist an account once you remove it from the service. So if you just connected your primary account, and disconnect it... you might be screwed on ever reconnecting it.
if you don't care about that iTunes account, then go ahead and try.

Eh. Costs $99 for a developer account to keep it going for a year, otherwise you have to re-register every 7 days to run Kodi on it. Too much trouble.

no, you don't need a developer account any longer, and you don't need to re-register every 7 days. All of that stuff changed with iOS 10. You DO need a Mac to side load, but any Apple device can be provisioned as a development device without a dev account, and doesn't need to be renewed.
edit - ok I read the page.. yeah they mentioned Xcode 7 and tvOS 9. None of those requirements are true as of Xcode 8 and ivOS10/iOS10. As of those versions, any device can be provisioned as a development device for free.
for Apple? iPhone/iPad will tell you from the iTunes Store app.

Interesting, I have Gravity on Vudu in SD. But now I can pull it up on Google Play as HD! I am loving this. It took a while for my Titles to show up, but they are there.
I don't know if it works for this, but Google Play has family sharing. You could try creating a family there and seeing if shared movies will propagate between linked accounts for both parties.
You can remove/hide them from iTunes and Amazon Video. Not sure about Vudu, Google Play, and MA.

I sold mine for $80 to a friend. It's REALLY easy to get $80-100 for the ATV4 especially to someone who doesn't have a 4K set.
Lots of people do this, so yeah.

Like make an MA account, link it to Google and the old iTunes account so their libraries are all in sync... then family share that first google account to my google account and see if it populated everything in my iTunes / MA?
If they are MA compatible, yes.
That's the idea. Someone else probably already has a household with family sharing and two people who are linking accounts with MA today so maybe someone else can tell you for sure before you go to the trouble.

If I switch iTunes accounts to a different one, can I later go back to that first account or can you not re-link a previous account after having switched it to a new account?
Like can you only go old account > new account > third account?
Or do they not care if you go back and forth like old account > new account >old account again?

Well, this unified digital library is very appealing so it's time to use VPN, donwload the app, create an Vudu account and link it with my UV account. Looks like by using DMA my Google+Amazon+Itunes accounts are already linked.

I had to log out of the Vudu account and back in. Went up by 65..
Probably mentioned already, but when I go to UVVU.com to see my UV library, it's empty.

Vudu gives like 5 movies for signing up

I might be wrong, but I believe its because you are using VGA that's causing the problem. I don't think VGA can handle HDCP, so therefore the HDCP check is failing and it won't play.

I have this as well. It happens on and off over time. I did switch to HDMI a few months ago and I have to unplug it and restart all the time. Nothing seems to be a complete solve.

OK, I'm going to have to look into it a bit more. My neighbor has an Airbook she'll let me use. If it can bitstream and all that I might do it.
Same, which is fine with me. Now I have apps on my TV that will play both versions.
I was super jealous of everyone rediscovering movies on old accounts they had... but actually looking through my entire list it seems like I had ~15 SD digital copies upgraded to HD. So that's awesome.. including some timeless classics like Wizard of Oz and Elf. so YAY!!!!!

Naw, I have movies redeemed through Flixster and fandangonow and then transferred via UV to Vudu and they came over without a hitch.
Conceptually yes, but in practice MA is far better as the big 3 digital media retailers (Amazon, Apple, & Google) are on board as well as the biggest of the film studios in Disney is on board.
UV being restricted to Vudu and without Disney doomed it even with family sharing.
UV's days were numbered, MA is a worthy successor as we could hope for in the current market.

yeah, it's 6,5,8,7 in my vudu. alphabetical with dumb movie names though.
So yeah I found my 2 examples in my MA account, but they still haven't propagated to iTunes yet.

Im in the same boat. All my other connected accounts populated. Id disconnect and reconnect, but it says you cant connect a different account for 6 months, I know itd be the same account, but I half expect itd lock me out anyway.

I had to disconnect and reconnect to force an iTunes sync and using the exact same accounts, it worked just fine. Its a step in their support article if things dont sync right. I would still give it some time naturally, but its an option
There are some good spreadsheets around, but I'd give this a couple days to shake out.
Weird. I linked all my accounts and it worked for the most part, but theres some weirdness.
For example, I have Blade Runner on Google and Blade Runner: The Final Cut on Vudu, but only Blade Runner is showing on iTunes. Similarly, I have Spider-Man 1 & 2 on Vudu, but only Spider-Man 1 is showing up in iTunes. However, both Final Cut and Spider-Man 2 showed up on Google just fine.
