This is great - I love it!

Great to see Nintendo take advantage of Switch-momentum by branching out its advertising avenues.

So, they just printed some Mario-themed art on cosmetic products they already had lying around?

I'm not really seeing how you want them to show the brand if it's not on the packaging. Unless you actually want the makeup to draw little Marios as you apply it... :/

Some of the products have actually sold out, including "Peach's Eye & Cheek Palate"...

I genuinely wonder what percentage of these will end up in the hands of women, and what percentage will end up in the hands of sad male collectors who need to have everything.

At least Sonic was first for something!
I like this trend of video game branded cosmetics though, it's a nice excuse to gather more gaming junk!

It really isn't that weird especially in Asia area. Many anime, manga and video games do cross over with every life products including cosmetic. It's especially common in Japan.

Doesn’t look bad at all. Nice partnership.

To each their own lol if it makes he/she/them happy and doesn’t hurt anyone, does it really matter?

Here's a direct link to the online store (http://www.shuuemura-usa.com/holiday-collection/super-mario-collection,default,sc.html).

For those unaware - Shu Uemura is one of the most upmarket and popular make-up brands in the world. This isn't some nobody cosmetic company that Nintendo have partnered with.

Some of the products have actually sold out, including "Peach's Eye & Cheek Palate"...

Just ordered the eyelash curler and lip balm for my girl. Quality looked fine on Youtube, she's going to be grateful but confused with the Mario theme hahaha.

These got unveiled a few months ago and it's not surprising to see a number of them sold out already.

That eye and cheek palette?
$115.

Nintendo also partnered with one of the most upmarket luxury fashion brands (Moschino) for a Nintendo themed fashion collection...

Fire Emblem (Exclusive Wifu Collection) [Free for a limited time Blue Hair Dye]
You joke, but as someone in the target demographic I'm largely apathetic to Mario branding but a Fire Emblem set might actually pique my curiosity out of sheer novelty, LOL. Even tried blue hair dye once, just. . .not all of my hair.

I don't see why people are going ew at this set, though. I don't typically wear makeup but this seems cute and well thought out enough.
