Oh fuck, here we go again. They screwed my switch order up back in March and had to wait 3 extra days to get it, and I swore them off at that point.

Reserved a x1x from them. Thought it’ll be ok. I’m still hoping.

Mario odyssey reserved release date delivery. Not here, in the tracking info since it’s usps there’s literally nothing to see where it’s at.

I’m done with them.

Strange. Mine arrived at like noon. The nearest warehouse they ship from is in the next state, about 4 hours away.

Or maybe that is only UPS who will deliver that late.

Edit: Hmm might hasnt been delivered yet either (West Coast) but the tracking info on amazons site doesn't give me many details, only 1 entry from yesterday evening that it left the seller and was in transit to carrier, but doesnt give any location , ciry nor state, what carrier is being used, etc. I have a tracking number, but no mention of the carrier, so not sure how that is useful. Does says it is arriving by 8pm. But for the first time ever, they missed a delivery last week, though.

Im pissed to, I ordered my copy on Thursday and it still has not been dispatched.

Yeah I know I only pre ordered a day b4 release but still.I would of thought they would be able to get me a copy from all the warehouses they have.

At the least you can contact them and tell them you are unhappy and they'll more than likely give you a month of Amazon Prime for free. That's what I"ve done when things mess up multiple times from them.

Worst thing is if you complain they same some shit like “We only ship on the day it comes out” and pretend release date delivery doesn’t exist. They did that to me with Dead Rising on Xbox One.

I went to Best Buy. They shipped yesterday and STILL got the game to me today. Amazon at this point is not worth it if you’re a heavy game day one buyer unless you have heavy credit to use.

Yep. I was reading other reports of people with the same issue at different gaming forums. Looks like a lot are getting it Monday, I’m holding a it hope I get it tomorrow.

Still it’s a bummer cause I really wanted to dig into it today as this weekend I have parties to take my kids to.

Very frustrating. Sometimes I get same day delivery. For Odyssey it said expected delivery date November 3rd! I called them and complained and the agent says it will now arrive tomorrow. Let's see. :/

Does shopto service your region OP? I always use them for pre-orders, and every time they've delivered a day early.

I don't trust amazon UK as far as I can throw them since they started up the whole amazon logistics thing. It got a bit better over time but the goodwill is out the window at this point.

Yea gonna let the wife handle that, she’s an expert at getting free stuff and what the next best thing they can do is. I have the patience of a fly and will end up screaming at them and being hung up on.

Are there no brick and mortar best buys around you? There have been many reports on here about Amazon fucking up release day delivery. I have prime, but still won't buy games on Amazon.

Man, the drama. This is why I still don't order anything through Amazon that I want Day 1. Which is most everything. Even with that new game discount, the drama isn't worth it.

Best Buy isn't immune to these problems either though - but in general I've personally had a better track record with them vs Amazon.

LoL..they had no clue. I'm in Toronto btw so to add insult to injury, we only get a 10% discount on preorders. :( I use Amazon heavily for other stuff, but I think I might be done with them for games.

I'm in SC and I think mine shipped from Florida. While the game came on time, my amiibos won't arrive until tomorrow. I preordered them from Best Buy and it said there was a slight delay and they would come tomorrow.

Same shit here OP and I knew I shouldn't have. So it arrives here in Washington (where I live and where they are headquartered), which they then send to the other side of the country in New York. Now they decide to truck the game back here to Washington but their truck breaks down so now the game is delayed for a few days.

As a long time Amazon Prime member I went and canceled both my prime membership and the game because frankly I'm over it. I mean they're headquartered in the same damn city as me and they can never get shit to me on time which made my prime membership obsolete. They also did this with the switch and the hilarious part was I went and found a switch in the Amazon bookstore here where they had hundreds while the whole city was sold out. They sent a massive amount to their bookstore instead of shipping them to their customers in the same damn city.

I ordered Fire Emblem Warriors from them. First package cane damaged and the box was open. Called and complained and they sent me out a replacement. The replacement was in worse condition. They gave me a full refund and told me to keep the replacement and ship back the original. I shipped the original back in the box I got my EU SNES in.

Same thing happened with Bestbuy, schedule for today and now it say end of tomorrow aka Monday :/.

Mine came today but I pre-ordered on day one basically. If it doesn't show up and you bitch they will give you something, either a free overnight shipment or a 5 dollar gift card or a month free prime.

On Tuesday I tried to change my copy from store pick up to shipping. Best buy said I woukd get it Monday, so I kept the pick up. They need more notice than a day. Though I agree conceptually with you that they SHOULDN'T need that much with their robot warehouses and such.

Best Buy waited until the last moment to ship mine, and literally everything else they sent me for today's release date was delayed. Mario Odyssey, however, they were nice enough to overnight ship.

The Amibo and Wolfenstein 2 will have to wait till tomorrow it looks.

I preordered in June for the deep discount and it said Nov 1 - 3 initially but I complained to them and they updated to deliver by today but it still says out for deliverybat it's 7pm so. I've resigned myself to accepting ill play it Monday...

The only time I’ve had a problem with Amazon was when I didn’t receive my 3DS on launch day. I was livid. I sent a few angry messages to customer service over the course of three days, until they ended up sending me another one plus a £10 gift voucher. In the mean time the missing 3DS showed up, so I ended up with two. I sold the second 3DS on eBay. Lol.

I'am done with Amazon after they sent my Fire Emblem Warriors Special Editon in a bubble mailer and the box was crushed beyond recognition. I got a refund but I will never trust them again.

Amazon was great in the UK - because they sold download codes which activated at midnight last noght for £40 and the game is £60 on the switch store (at least it was).

Best Buy disappointed me as well with Assassins Creed Origins. It was supposed to be delivered today but got an email saying it will instead arrive on Monday. I could have opted for store pickup but that's more of a hassle. Eh, such is life.
