Pretty sure it's gonna be the hospital game... nothing for me to get excited about...

Dreamcast mini would indeed be awesome but I don't think that'll ever happen. Even the official genesis clones and such are made by Atgames and they suck, I can't imagine an official dreamcast emulator to be any better...
Personally, I'd love an HDMI enabled Saturn preloaded with panzer dragon saga... Id literally drive to their headquarters and throw money at the folks leaving the building. :p

I'd love a little SNES Mini Classic style HDMI console for almost any Sega machine. I know that they have a history of those things but they've universally been nasty little things that third parties have thrown out, it would be really good to get a proper one.

I agree with it relating to Dreamcast, but it's probably a HD rerelease of a Dreamcast game rather than a Dreamcast mini. While I'm going to continue to dream of a western release of Sakura Wars, that's probably not it. Skies of Arcadia HD or possibly the Shenmue 1-2 HD people have talked about, maybe?

A Dreamcast collection (with a proper version of Sonic Adventure and not that crap they released on ps3) would be amazing. I'm interested to see what this is.

I'm not keeping my hopes up for anything I actually want or care about. The Retro Bit Sega licensed DC, Saturn, and Genesis Bluetooth repro controllers are enough to satisfy me. A remaster of Skies of Arcadia or a Dreacmast/Saturn mini would be nice though...

Huh, I didn't know about Two Point Studios and them doing something with Sega. They retweeted the lightbulb so that's probably it

I was pretty into Theme Hospital way back, I'm down for a new wacky sim game in the same vein
As long as it doesn't involve people vomiting all over my hallways

They lost the source code for that game, so it will never happen unless they rebuild the game from the ground up...

Fair enough... My USBGDROM is the best gaming investment I've ever made in my life but I do understand the price is a hard pill to swallow for most. Helps that my HDTV has a VGA port so I don't have to deal with any of those silly dohickeys to get it to look good...

I still don't understand why they couldn't download the ROM off the internet and set up a professional grade emulator to play it.

Building a proper emulator would probably be just as daunting a task as remaking the game honestly...

It better be shenmue 1 and 2 - they were rumoured to have been delayed due to the release date of shenmue 3 being pushed back. I do not think we will see shenmue 3 until its 20th anniversary in december 2019.

Did anyone read through the Twitter? Already says they're working on a simulator a few posts down. It's gonna be a simulator – maybe something else too if lucky.

It's clearly that hospital simulator game. Which looks awesome.

Please don't get excited about Shenmue or anything else. lol.
Seriously this lol it's amazing how many people on every form of social media completely ignore these warnings and jump right to shenmue or dreamcast 2 lmfao. It's just gonna be hospital simulator 2, or perhaps some other simulator. Nothing to get excited about(unless you're into that type of thing)...

I think that is something I need to have done to my Dreamcast.

Also that hospital games looks like it might actually be good.

Worth every penny. Installation is easy and setup can be annoying but simple once you figure it out. But once it's all said and done you'll have the time of your life...

I'm pretty jazzed about this. I have always loved TH and this has at least much more character than the other hospital game that's in development (which seems really dry).

Loved Theme Park, Theme Hospital, etc. so I‘ll keep an eye on this. But I hoped for a western release date for Fist of the North Star :(

That's a terrible announcement. Hey let's do an announcement to announce that we're going to announce a game later. What a waste of time.

I got caught up in the fan hype. I've been a Sega fan since the 80s. I should know by now modern Sega is not the same. This announcement may not appeal to me but it's still a good announcement. Hope this one sells well for them.

It was nice Shenmue 3 had an update today but that's really not Sega anymore.

It would be nice for Sega to listen to the fan base hype and get something going from all the suggestions they're getting.

It is an exciting thing to look forward to. Bullfrog designers coming together under SEGA to make a sequel to a classic PC game that sold more than 4 million copies.

20 years ago teenage arcade loving me would have been a bit mortified to be honest. Not knocking theme hospital for one minute (EVERYONE loves theme hospital) but I do miss Sega.
