Games that haven't been remastered....but deserve to be!

Fallout 3 doesn't need it, it's X-enhanced with increased settings and native 4K on Xbox One X.

In the digital age I don't think games should be re-mastered any more. I would prefer more games to become backwards compatible and more games enhanced through backwards compatibility so that my physical(and digital) library of previous generation games become more valued.

- I think this would be port rather than remaster but I really want Tokyo Mirages Session on Switch.
- Drakengard 3 Remaster. The actual combat is better than original NieR but unfortunately the performance is really, really bad and it becomes difficult to play.
- Original NieR: Now Automata became big success, more people willing give the original game another chance.
- SMTIII Nocturne: I DONT' want remake, just remaster so I can play it on PS4.
- Digital Devil Saga 1&2: Same as Nocturne
- I really want Remake of Alice Madness Returns. This time they should bring someone that knows how to make more interesting level design.

Weird. Did Sony make some spectacular deal with MS that allows Fallout 3 to be played on the PS4?

Props to MS and Sony for coming together as a team to get Fallout 3 on ALL consoles!

yes, this is sarcasm

Didn't realize this was a PS4 exclusive thread...

I really want a Persona 3 Complete Edition.
3D overworld, all bonus content, all QOL changes from P3P+ later games in the series, all anime cutscenes, in one HD game.

If you want to play P3 and do something as basic as control your own party members, you have to play it in that weird 2D/VN thing from P3P, and it's a real shame.

I would love to see Super Mario 64 running on something modern like the Super Mario Odyssey engine. Shigeru Miyamoto doesn’t want to remake Mario games though so the chances of that ever happening are slim to none.

Well, technically they did remake/remaster Mario 64 to run on the Nintendo DS and even added new content to the game. Unless he changed his mind since then, I wouldn't put it completely out of the realm of possibility.

For me, I would LOVE to see a few titles remastered:
- The Simpsons Hit and Run
- Jersey Devil
- Seiken Densetsu 3 (English Release dagnabit!)
- The Last Guardian on PS5

The Last Guardian is one of my all time favorite games, but it was marred by technical issues and continued frame drops, even on PS4 Pro. I would love the game to get a re-release/remastered version on whatever new iteration console Sony has cooking, running at a smooth 60 FPS.

Also add ICO to that list because ICO is ICO and the world needs more ICO.

Remastered, sure, but I'd prefer remade/rebooted...

Metal Gear Series (or just Metal Gear Online)
Resistance Series
Killzone Series
Heavenly Sword
Civilization Revolution
Savage Moon
Haze (Yeah, I said it)
Tom Clancy's EndWar (Remastered/Remade With/For VR Support)
Socom Series
Bad Company 2
MAG

Oh oh, how can I forget. Burnout Paradise.

Bring that shit back, EA. Redeem yourself from the many shitty NFS games.

I still wish for Namco and Monolith Soft to remake Xenosaga trilogy for Switch. Especially since Episode I & III never released in Europe back then, I really would like to play them, but don't really feel like playing on PS2 anymore.

Master of Orion 2. It's still pretty much the space 4x game, but even though there was a Windows 95 version, it doesn't work on modern PCs, so people have to use the dos version in dos box

Warlords 2 is another pick

XCOM: Enemy Unknown
XCOM: Terror From The Deep
(and yes, I have seen xenonauts and UFO:Extraterrastrials, it's frustrating how both are simpler than the original)

Another one I forgot to mention is remake of Valkyria Chronicles 3. I don't think its a good idea to simply remaster the PSP version. We need full on remake with CANVAS Engine.

not tag worthy
Tatsunoko VS capcom needs a switch remaster

Red steel 2
Super Mario galaxy 1 and 2
F zero gx
Burning rangers

It's kind of amazing infamous 1 and 2 never got a remaster collection given how many Sony have done.

Muramasa Rebirth Complete Edition for PS4 and Switch, hopefully it does happen after Dragon's Crown Pro, although they need to finish there actually new game they're making first.

Vanquish, since it's already on PC and would be easy, so why not?

Dragon Quest VIII Definitive Edition, HD PS2 version graphics and soundtrack, but with all the 3DS stuff.

Tekken 5 Definitive Edition. All content from the PS2, PSP, and PS3 versions finally all in one package.

No More Heroes 1 + 2 HD for Switch.

I'd love to see Project Snowblind given the treatment. I'm likely wearing huge nostalgia glasses, but I remember the gameplay and story being great fun.

Another that I can only dream about is a light-gun game called EndGame that was released on the PlayStation 2. I believed it released mixed reviews but by God, I had a lot of fun pew pewing at my television screen. I remember it being incredibly difficult as well, but that could have been myself being absolutely terrible.

Definitely GTA IV!
To this date it's my favorite game of the series, but some parts of it have aged badly. I would love a remastered version of IV, including all DLC of course, with enhanced visuals, stable 60 fps (on console), updated controls and shooting mechanics and added smaller QoL improvements such as proper Autosave, shorter loading times etc.
In my opinion, many people have a much too negative opinion on GTA IV and I feel, that a remastered and improved version of the game would help improve the general perception of the game as well as give a huge number of new players a chance to play it for the first time since GTA V has sold significantly more copies than its predecessor.
