EAs press conferences for me have always been the most disappointing.

Yes. EA stated a while ago that they didn't really have any big open world action type games and rumored for a while to be working on one.

I’m curious how Anthem will look in comparison to what it appeared as at EA’s last years E3 show.

unless they announced a game like A way out, there is pretty much nothing that interests me in their conference, sure BF 5 is good, but we already got BF1 less than two years ago, i'm not yet excited for another BF

Anthem is gonna be okay at best, people will get hyped but eventually will be disappointed at release

Still somewhat interested in the REAL BF V gameplay, a proper new SW RPG game would be nice. Sports games I don't care about and the same goes for Anthem, because Bioware....

Hopefully we actually get something good and new from EA for once.

I am absolutely not hyped for anything from EA, they have been doing back to back on bad practices. I like anthem to be good because I love sci-fi but its EA they time and time again proved that they can't be trusted.

But it's still BioWare (the core team, not the guys who made Andromeda, which was still a good game despite all the backlash). I'm keeping my fingers crossed MMO shared world shooter done right. Bungie's take with Destiny didn't impress me much.

Considering it will be game journalists invited by EA due to having a good relationship with them it would be extremely doubtful.
As I have said in the past EAs press conferences are usually complete crap and they have given me no reason to believe they won’t again.

It sure does. I don't really believe that the final product will look like last E3 gameplay, at least on consoles, but the setting is, as you said, cool. The only question is if they get the gameplay and content right.

Definitely agree with this. I have very low expectations on EA and I'm not really into their major franchises such as BF and Star Wars. I think that Anthem will be a beautiful game to look at and boring as hell to play, simply not for me.

It will be interesting to see how they handle microtransactions in coming titles. EA can probably never drop them completely but at the same time they will get lots of criticism when including them. I don't trust them one bit and think the industry should be less like EA wants it to be.

All EA need to do is give Anthem a really strong showing as well as Battlefield V.
A strong showing from both of those games alone could equal big $$$ for EA and many happy hours gaming for the aveage gamer.

EA have two games that could be huge sellers with much longevity if handled correctly so hopefully they have learned their recent lessons and live up to their potential.

I hope to see something of Respawn's Star Wars game as well.

Being in the UK this might be the only conference I can watch live, hope it'll be a good one! Although I'm not too fond of EA usual license like FIFA or battlefield so here's hoping for Anthem being amazing!

Dear EA,

You’re conferences are consistently the worst and I am hoping you can fix that.

Show us new unannounced single player games that made you great from 2008-2011.
Have surprises and not just footage of games we all know are coming.

Somehow for the sake of outrage I want them o adress the Battlefield fiasco^^

As for the games? I honestly do not know what will excite me here. I can not care less about Anthem and the new Bioware. Maybe there will be some great new IP but otherwise this looks to be the most bring one this year.

The problem with those two games is that EA need to share how they want to monetize them. And I'm quite sure this won't happen.
If they doesn't share anything about the monetization, then I'll stay doubtful following Battlefront 2.

I'm with you man but I'm a HUGE Battlefield fan so I grabbed another beer, put on my turtle beach xbox headphones and I'm watching Interstellar! To the 4th dimension!!!!

Edit: fuck I forgot how good the soundtrack in this movie is.
