Geez, we had so many trailers. Feels like it would be cooler if we were surprised by these worlds while playing the game.

Yeah my hype level for Big Hero is right behind Pirates and Toy Story.
Dude the jump in visual and gameplay design is HUGE from KH2. You'd think this game would feel dated since KH2 came out on the PS2, but they're really popping off on this.

Back then, we didn't have loads of trailers to watch when we started playing KH and KH2. I was surprised at the Lion King world.

I think there going to NPCs when you explore but the places you do fight heartless there won't be NPCs around.

I think a lot of the surprise will be related to the KH-focused worlds. The Disney ones are usually less important to the overall story with a few bits and bobs showing up every now and again, unless they change a lot of how they do stories in the series.
Super hyped for this game. Hoping to get the limited edition.

I know what you saying but KH1 was mostly about Sora trying to find Riku and Kairi while in KHIII is more characters involved. I personally really liking this cover but I just we also get this cover as or at least gives us reversible cover like in DQXI.

Not sure what to make of the vehicle stuff and flying through hoops, worried they could be watering down the great combat mechanics with too many gimmicks. Hopefully they are just focusing on them in the videos and they don't form a big portion of the full game.
Visually however the game looks amazing, it also seems to have far more 'worlds' than the previous titles in the series. UE4 is a beast at recreating the Disney/Pixar materials and lighting.

Squall, or "Leon" has always been more important than Cloud in Kingdom Hearts, he was probably the most important FF character in Kingdom Hearts actually.
I'm also really sad that it seems like they completely gave up on Final Fantasy, this series started as a cross over between Final Fantasy and Disney, and is now only a Disney game with no FF at all.
Birth By Sleep only had Zack, and that was the only FF content at all, for only 2 or 3 minutes on screen, while in KH 2 many of the story characters are FF characters.

Say you, my favorite content in Kingdom Hearts has always been the FF and the original content, not the disney content. The best moments in KH 2 were clearly not the Disney ones, but all the end-game stuff with the organization XIII boss fights and all.
I honestly really wouldn't mind a Kingdom Hearts without Disney.

Like it or not one of biggest appeal of KH games for majority of people is going through different Disney World and interacting with Disney characters. If you want a game all about Final Fantasy characters then we have Dissidia for that.

I also loved old Disney moves but I also liked movies like Tangled, Monster inc, Toy Story and Big Hero 6, so I'm excited going to those worlds in KHIII.

The final fantasy characters don't add much to the story, you could replace them with any other characters and it wouldn't make much difference. Organization XIII are not even final fantasy characters also.

I mean I grew up with Toy Story and Monsters Inc. Those movies came out long ago. Modern Disney can go to hell though.

Well KH, KH2 and other handheld KH games covered most of the old Disney movies. The only one I can think of is Robin Hood and The Emperor's New Groove.

That's why I also said "and original content" too.
If there's one disney world not done that I would like to see, other than Big Hero 6 since I really like it, it's Treasure planet, it's one of my favorite disney and it could fit perfectly with the space / ship theme of kingdom hearts, could even be some kind of hub world between other ones. But this movie is underrated and Disney hate it so it won't happen.

Yeah, I LOVED The Rescuers and I would like that in KH someday but there no way Who Framed Roger Rabbit would be in KH game.

The point is you could completely take out all the final fantasy characters in kingdom hearts and it wouldn't matter. They don't feel like they belong there. They really don't interact with the heartless, nobodies, or organization 13. They are just kind of there. They don't really have any goals, or have anything to move the story forward.

Why? Are you talking about the story? As convoluted as the story is, its easy to understand once you played all the games and thats really easy to do since all the games on PS4 now.
