I hope none of our regulars here are getting directly involved and stirring the pot because the place is a ticking time bomb and we’re better off sitting back and laughing as they implode themselves. However, I’ve no doubt some probably are, but there’s nothing we can do about it because that’s the nature of anonymous forums. I wish the people on ResetEra take a step back and look at what other people are saying about them. I've checked various sites and majority say they're crazy SJWs with a side of pedophilia and a dash of terrible moderation. I mean why do they continue creating their own version that they're okay (aside from questioning the moderation)? Old GAF was hated upon, nowadays not so much, just a few people grouping NeoGAF with ResetEra.
Edit: also funny thought - if accusations are evidence (which lead to the truth) according to them, then them being accused (by the majority) as insane SJWs with a side of pedophilia are evidence which lead to the truth.
Other than specific journalists and people in the industry who also bow to the same twitter cult mob, not a single third party really has a remotely positive opinion of Era that I heard. And typically those aformentioned groups have a presence on Era.
It's almost like... those three vectors are all the same.

I think there are just more people who own Sony products, which jives with worldwide sales of the two different platforms. I have not seen any indication here in terms of bans listed that the mods are one-sidedly protective of Nintendo though? Yes, Resetera is harsh when it comes to criticising developers (for issues other than representation / racism / sexism) but that, to my best knowledge, is universal over all developers. Nintendo has had their share of criticism for those specific matters over the years, be it Smash Bros representation, sexism in Fire Emblem or Xenoblade, so it is not like it is protected in that regard either. Also, Sony is still significantly more popular with Resetera users than Nintendo.
