Hey Gaf, just recently bought myself a Psp Go and from the looks of it... Media Go is out of service. What do I do now? Any Psp owner here know what can I do? Any help will be vastly appreciated.

The Media go pc program no longer works unfortunately. The only way to purchase psp games and ps1 classics is through the psn store on a browser or the app. (PSN store no longer works on psp) Downloads can be accessed by logging into psn account management via the psp. Then go to transaction management, than download list to access purchased games. I presume this will work for a psp go. If not, well might as well do the jailbreak thing. Or use it a s a paper weight.

Also at this stage, wouldn't a PS TV make more sense to do that.

That's a great price considering how much I have seen some going for.
You should still be able to buy and download games from PSN.
The real fun is in hacking the thing and making it a go to emulation system. There is a ton of potential in the palm of your hands.

Objectively not true. Besides that and the FeMC, everything about the PSP version is much worse. I even think FES isn't better than the original, because you lose the incredible battle theme and you fight a lot.

You should have brought an Xperia Play which is basically a more powerful version of the Go, you get your PSX emulator and you can easily install a PSP emulator with universal SD card support, better screen, and and arguably better analog "sticks" and the slide out controller is better built and the screen actually has a tocuhscreen.
Especially if you get the later Black versions of the Xperia Play.

So many good games to buy digitally. I really enjoy my PS Vita. For PSP games, buy them form the internet store (in your browser) and you should have a list to choose from on the system (PSP Go). That's at least what I got from doing a bit of research.

How so? The PsP drives were notorious for messing up. The only way to keep playing your games was to jailbreak it. Sorta like the Vita after the expensive memory card dies. THANKS SONY IT WAS ONLY 80+ BUCKS FOR 64GBS!
