They subscribe to a very subjective view of bigotry. There is no objective understanding to what are the core traits of what makes bigotry in the forms of sexism, racism, etc.
Basically, bigotry is a point of view. If a group is marginalized and without perceived power, it is impossible for that group to be bigots to the group in power. It's justice.
It's how they rationalize it as to not be confronted with the inherent hypocrisy of their standpoint. Those that see it for what it is further rationalize it as "the end justifies the means." If really backed into a corner, they will tell the person of their privilege to even make this argument and explain they don't have the time and luxury to adhere to ideals of absolute anti-bigotry.
The root is all the same though. It's tribalism. It always has been.

This was pretty evident even from his original comment. He was just saying he has always had a feminine side. Most men do. But I was stunned when his wikipedia entry replaced all his pronouns with "they".

It's common in Japan that women voice male characters (most prominent Son Goku). Black characters wouldn't have a voice in German dubs if white actors couldn't do the job. And here we are and the social justice mob demands that black characters can only be dubbed by black voice actors. Their current target: developer Chucklefish and its game Wargroove.
My opinion: the only important part in voice acting is the voice.
There is no 'black voice', any such remarks were called racist in the past and they'd be racist now. You choose the best voice for the job, the end. There's neither malicious intent nor racism at play. I hope Chucklefish don't bow to these assturds and defend their choice. From what I've heard Wargroove is a great game. Don't let anyone harass them over something this stupid.
