Eh, height shaming is absolutely a thing and it's a shitty thing to do.
That said, "work with what you're given" is far from a poor message. The hypocrisy on Era is they don't see it that way. If you belong to a marginalized group at all, then you should be given everything you want because you're "disadvantaged" and everyone else only has things because of privilege. It's a stupid generalizing mindset that's just there to make you attack the system before even considering the concept of self-improvement.
At least they'd be consistent if they maintained all that when talking about the disadvantages of being short, but there's no "historical baggage" according to them, so they can't complain.

Oh they were total dickheads, shit-stirrers, and I imagine embelishers in general. I don't think any of that is in dispute nor do I think any notable person over there would care. But even on gaf, I don't think they their identities as black/trans was ever in question. If it's not an Enzom situation, the only people you'll see make a big deal out of it are already on Era staff's shitlist (as in normal people).
