Command & Conquer Remastered Collection will launch for PC via Steam and Origin on June 5 worldwide for $19.99, publisher Electronic Arts announced. It will also be available as part of an Origin Access Premier subscription.

Here is an overview of the collection, via Electronic Arts:
Comprised of Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn, Command & Conquer: Red Alert, and their three expansion packs—Covert Ops, Counterstrike, and The Aftermath—the Command & Conquer Remastered Collection is a passion project between Electronic Arts and some of the original Westwood Studios team members at Petroglyph.

Command & Conquer Remastered Collection is being created alongside the Command & Conquer community, where the project was publicly revealed in October 2018 to gather community insight before development began. An active Community Council has been involved since early pre-production with 24/7 access to the development team. The title features rebuilt graphics and textures with support up to 4K resolution, along with an over seven hour soundtrack remastered by the renowned original composer Frank Klepacki. The community has helped shape the enhancements of the game through highly requested features like revamped UI, updated controls and a Map Editor for fans to showcase their creations. Multiplayer has been rebuilt from the ground up to support a modern online experience with custom games, one-versus-one quick match, Elo-based matchmaking, leaderboards, replays, and much more.

In addition to the digital release, Limited Run Games will distribute limited print physical editions of Command & Conquer Remastered Collection. Here are the details:

I'm a big fan but I'm not sure if I'll get it since I already have The Decade and the games run fine on Windows 10.

What I would love most is a fix for the GDI Commando. In other games when a Commando destroys a building no infantry spawns but in Tiberian Dawn usually one infantry spawns and instantly hits the Commando, so what that means is that a Commando has to sacrifice a bit of his health for every building he takes out, which really bothers me.

Decent price, but it's kinda sad there's no retail release to be able to put a cool retro box on your shelf.

Oh, there is? I'm considering that 60 dollar one. :)

Why every single publisher in the history of the world has tried to trick the users with a before/after comparison in a remaster trailer is beyond me..

Of course you won't get that kind of remastered footage from a completely pixelated video..

Before are VQA videos from PC and after are ESRGAN scaled MJPEG videos from Playstation. Expect a big difference in quality from PC exclusive mission videos, of course.

Awesome. I really only played the original C&C and Red Alert back in the day, so I don't know what I'm missing in the other titles.

I think I'm gonna try to grab the special edition. I don't need all the extra stuff in the Anniversary one, but I'm not capable of passing up the opportunity to have a big fucking box with "COMMAND & CONQUER" across the top.

Generals is locked at 30fps, isn't it? And RA2 had a bunch of issues when I tried it recently.
Perhaps. I never noticed. The gameplay is fine though.

The only problem RA2 has on modern systems is that it sometimes runs slow but there is an easy fix for that.

Give me Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2 remaster please. Also a brand new entry would be nice.

I've been playing RA2 and Tiberian Sun modded. Tib Sun looks especially good in 1080p+.

was playing Tiberian Sun recently. Holds up pretty well for a 20+ year old game.

I'm amazed that it's a Steam code and not Origin code. What the hell.

Apparently now the morons at LRG don't even know - now they are saying there *might* be a disc in the case, and it *might* have the game on the disc, but if it does, it will definitely need Steam to run

I was super excited, assumed the best game in the series was included (ra2), excitement level went for 11 out of 10 to a 6.
They should not have called this a collection.

It's $20 for 2 games and the million expansion packs. I think that's a really fair value.

They also sold these five packs together back in the day as one big bundle.

We already have the collection, I think it's great that they're focusing on this first generation of the franchise so we can enjoy the shit out of what they pulled off here, before looking ahead to hopefully TS and RA2!

Nothing. The series goes DRASTICALLY to shit after the two 10/10 originals Tiberian Dawn & Red Alert.

Tiberian Sun was decent, I agree, but RA2 is really damn good, basically it's the last great C&C game, at least as far as 2D titles go, because from all the 3D titles what made the series go seriously downhill only Generals was still pretty neat.

I think I just didn't like the jet pack dumbness and the crazy psychic nonsence.

Instantly bought the anniversary edition.

personally I think the only great 3D CnC was CnC 3, it was amazing, the variety in units and the faction design was top notch.
The stupid balance patches really ruined the game, I still highly recommend it.
