Japan Studio's SH soft-reboot it's not ready to be shown, and in the case of Kojima's Silent Hills revival, not even greenlighted. Plus, Sony has more than enough first-party content ready to show at the PS5 reveal that would be available during the launch window, so there's no need to show 2022 games just yet.

It depends, GPU’s can be used for general computation too so while I welcome better CPU and SSD, a more balanced system, there are lots of uses for extra GPU FLOPS as they say. Shedding one or more TFLOPS would be quite a big drop and I am not sure it would buy them as much as we think.
The teraflops game started this gen and I believe last gen, it was more about CPU, correct?
Bo_Hazem I forgot to mention UHDTV upscaling processors, I am sure next gen is going to be powerful enough to clean the image quality of old games, but how can the upscaling processors of UHDTVs help with image quality? Check this out:

It was only a problem I think during 2013-2014? Or before? My older 2015 LG 4K 55" LCD upscales my PS4 games well, much sharper than 1080p TV's, my current 2016 Sony XD70 55" does that perfectly as well. But newer TV's might not only upscale, but also could have machine learning assist through consoles or maybe in their own processor? Not sure.
Overall, upscaling was problematic only with earlier 4K models. That game is 720p and see how good it's been upscaled. With next gen you should have native 4K or 1800p as the baseline, which is much higher than that.

400% zoom FTW!... So, a ~1500MHz GPU clock, in a laptop, and on top of that on Vega which has a terrible thermal efficiency, with RDNA2 I won't be surprised if the GPU clocks in the upcoming consoles will be close to 2GHz barier.
