Two and a half weeks later, he was breathing through a ventilator. The novel coronavirus had invaded his lungs and doctors were unsure he would live.
Of the 21 people who gathered in the village of Racine that day, 15 contracted the virus.
We closed things down in March here. But this thing was already around in Feb. We actually only had our "first" case on Feb 29th.
Really puts it into perspective that this invisible enemy was with us earlier than we thought and regardless of the money morning QB'ing and hindsight not much could of been done. Who knows we might find out another story of someone who got it earlier in Feb, or maybe back in Jan or December.
Just to put this into full context. They confirmed 15 cases of COVID-19 from back in February? Of 21 total people playing ball hockey, 15 (71.4%) contracted COVID-19, and 1 (~0.5%) went into ICU?

Yes thats what the article is saying. I don't think they confirmed 100% that everyone was infected at this game or who was the originally carrier. But basically 15 of the 21 people playing that game got sick. One person even travelled after that to Rio (didn't know they were infected of course).
So we could read it that someone was infected at that game and 14 other people got infected.
We also had an old age home that had 105 out of 154 people infected in it. Which lines up with the 70% figure.

This may seem stupid, and I’m probably just being paranoid OCD about the virus, but my FFVII Remake got delivered earlier and I went outside to pick it up after the UPS guy left it at my door and then I thought shit, should I have let it sit out there for like an hour so I don’t breathe the same air the UPS driver just breathed 5 minutes ago.

That's paranoia. If keeping 6 ft of distance is sufficient to avoid contracting, then you're fine to pick up the package. However, discard the package immediately and wash your hands before doing anything else. You should be fine.

coronavirus wont leap off a surface onto you and into your mouth, if you follow good hygiene and are picky about hands and face during this time you can dramatically lower your chances of catching it.

It's beyond frustrating and is just sad at this point. It sucks that almost every big media outlet has their own agenda that informs not only what they choose to report, but also how they report it (including selective editing like in this clip). At least it's a lot easier to go to the source these days, but so few people bother to do so.
