Why don't you moan about people not having money to feed their families by directing it at the actual cause of that - your government. Instead of pumping billions into the military and giving tax relief to the ultra wealthy, maybe they could have arranged a furlough scheme like most of the saner governments in the world have, to protect both people and jobs.

The US is giving more money to the unemployed than Canada is, at least. Canadians get $2000 CAD a month for four months, then get regular unemployment after. Americans get $2400 USD a month plus their regular unemployment benefits.

What chance, in probability terms, do you think a healthy person with a <25 BMI at, say, 35 years old has of dying of COVID-19? Because the answer is significantly less than .1%. Here's an article from the LA Times, using the vastly inflated percentages that don't take into account the recent news about how widespread this is, but it still shows someone of age 70 is roughly 14 times more likely to die of COVID than someone in their 20s.

Where are you getting your hysteria from? Before you advocate endless fear and lockdown, think about all the things you do and encounter on a daily basis that has a chance of killing you 1 time out of 1000, and then think about whether or not you use that fact to stop you from doing it.
There are ways to protect and help the old and sick that does not involve shutting down the entire country.

I think I've been expecting an IFR of like 0.7% for a few months now. Never expected those numbers in the 10% range to be accurate.
The fact remains that this virus is more deadly than influenza, simply because it is more contagious, has no treatment, and no vaccine. The R0 has been revised upwards and is likely 3x what the flu is. That means a lot more cases. I've only had the flu once in my life, and if I ever had a severe case there would be treatment available for me. Only a small proportion of people get the flu each year. COVID19 would likely have infected the majority of people on this planet this year if we had not gone into lockdown, with no treatments available.

I think I have the Coronavirus even though I can't really get tested as of yet.
I have had the following conditions for at least 5 days since Tuesday:
Hard of Breathing, Tiredness, Soreness in Muscles, Pain where the back of my Lungs are, Diarrhoea, Heart Palpitations and consistent Dizziness. It is actually worse when I sit down or lay on my back and a numbness in my legs sometimes. Been trying to do deep breaths and stand up for a small while and calm myself down.
I am a 30 year Male that exercises (or at least I have tried to in these last 4 weeks), no underlying conditions (only Aspergers), and have been eating mostly healthy foods when I can.
I would say that this is a mild version of the Illness if I do have it, but I haven't had a Fever as far as I know.
I wouldn't like anyone else to get it if this is the mild version.
Keep Safe whenever possible.
Edit: I have had the Flu back in 2014 and it was horrible as well, but I could at least breathe better and slept for 2 days before recovering, I think my parents have had it for weeks and still have some dizziness.
