This emulator really evolved since I first used it ~one year ago, this video inspired my for some new testing:
You can now force 30FPS games to render in framerates above that limit, results vary from title to title and I tested some games to check it out. I have old as fuck 2600K (4.4GHz) so more recent CPUs will give you much better results, still it's quite impressive in some cases.
Persona 5:
When I first tested this game it run in ~20 FPS in this scene, so quite big improvment:
Ni No Kuni:
Games above run with the method from the video without problems but that's not always the case, for example in Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and Demon's Souls games run with 2x the speed with this. There are specific patches for some titles https://wiki.rpcs3.net/index.php?title=Help:Game_Patches
Demon's Souls:
60FPS
60FPS with 21:9 patch
NIER:
60FPS 21:9 (better than remaster )
