Always great to see genuine excitement whenever Sony has something to reveal. People are excited because they know the Market leader has delivered in every gen. Now, not only are we excited for games, but for a paradigm shift in hardware capability as well, which still ends up shining light on the games even more....I am stoked more than I have ever been for a new generation. We have in the PS5 the most exciting hardware since we went from 2D to 3D, the games we will see on such hardware will be nothing short of revolutionary in scope, ambition and fidelity......Cheers to Jim Ryan and Mark Cerny, absolutely love the cloth these two blokes are made of......Cant Wait....

The developers of the PS5 and PS4 horror shooter revealed on their official Twitter today that they're part of the ever-growing lineup for the June 6 event. We can't tell you exactly what you'll see when Quantum Error takes the (virtual) stage - where would the fun be in that - but we will tell you that if you enjoy freaky sci-fi scares, you won't want to miss it.

While Quantum Error is headed to both PS5 and PS4, Teamkill says it's focusing efforts on Sony's new console; look out for creepy drone monsters clawing at you in 4K resolution and 60 frames per second, if the developers hit their goal.

Quantum Error is also aiming to be a PS5 launch title if possible, though Teamkill hasn't committed to any specific release timing so far.

My wishlist:
-console
-price point
-release date
-BC with similar updates/improvements that MS has done (even if just with ps4 titles. I need Bloodborne in 4k/60fps)
As for games, this close to launch i have trouble expecting there to be a massive selection of AAA games like gow5 or hzd2, but if we get atleast one major AAA Ill be happy.

Timing wise, everything has lined up well for them, whether it was planned this way or just unfolded this way on its own. The MS third party stream got a lot of criticism (even if I liked a lot of what I saw, personally), and MS' big event isn't until July. Sony can keep the marketing fire growing their way with a strong showing next week without having to to reveal everything at once.

That was never true for Sony.
PS4 first-party launch exclusive games never ran on PS3.

Sony always focused in the next-gen consoles... Knack, Killzone: Shadown Fall, inFamous: Second Son, Resogun (late it was ported to PS3), DriveClub, etc were launched on PS4 only.

Dang! I was not thinking about first party titles 🤦‍♂️ never crossed my mind when typing up my last post but games like Destiny, GTA etc. was my line of thinking.

Multiplatform will be always cross-gen in most cases.
They took years to abandon the previous generation.

The talk about MS and Sony is about first-party games.

MS first-party games (for 2 years?) will be released in all Xbox consoles (XB1 included) and PC.
Sony first-party games will be released for PS5.

MS is acting like a typical 3rd-party published.
Sony is being a 1st-party publisher.

Totally! I mean I haven't eaten açai anywhere else, but it's pretty good here. The local cuisine is luckily amazing.

Could be over R$ 6,00 by the time the PS5 launches. And with the increasing danger of an all out civil war, it could be over 10 any day now.

Considering the fact that Square Enix has multiple teams that working on multiple new games (also cross-gen like Marvel's Avengers, Outriders) and probably even only nexgen games, and if we considering that Final Fantasy XVI is probably in the works for, at least, 3 or 4 years by now, yes.

I think that Final Fantasy XVI can be released, easily, even before Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2, potentially.
(a recent rumor suggest a possibly 2021/2022 release date for FFXVI)

mm hmm. Im happy you loved it. But that game was suppose to come out 2011. It started development 2007. It took 9 years to release.

I stopped reading at Ryan McCaffrey. Dude is one of the worst reviewers at IGN, and one of the main reasons I stopped taking their site seriously a few years back.

He gave Alien Isolation, the best survival horror game we've had since OG Silent Hill and RE, a 5.9. I think it was the lowest score the game got (or close to it).

He lost all credibility for me when he gave halo 4 a 9.8 citing it as the best in the series.
