We are mostly wired, but please be aware that technology improves massively over the years and nothing stays static. Wifi has an advantage of not needing cables, having the ability to connect a million devices to the internet where they can communicate with each other without plugging in a wired ethernet cable and speeds and raw bandwidth on Wifi are now pretty insane. We may not recommend it to play SF5, but let's be honest, Wifi was only a detriment if you had a million people pooling over your connection in your house. Even with wired, if you are downloading torrents and playing SF, the experience will be just as bad and sometimes the fault should go to the netcode more than the technology constraints....
You look at any modern Wifi router, the features, the number of connected clients are insane via wifi......Eventually, Wifi will take over Ethernet and SFP+.....and Wifi 6 looks to be the standard that will pave that way forward....Technology improves, nothing stays the same.....It's similar to people arguing stick shift over automatic or.....Mechanical drives over SSD....Eventually the older one will be phased out.....
Phil is probably down the chief engineer's eardrum right now telling him how this happened? 1 trillion plus revenue, use that money baby, it all belongs to XBOX......So if they really do not have Wifi 6 onboard, their only option is a peripheal device/add on. So at launch they will probably have a Wifi 6 adapter that you can buy at a small cost to you....It's only fair and pro-consumer you see, you get options silly....
I swear, Cerny is the embodiment of sleek and quick.....We should coin him 'the bottleneck killer".....
