Nah, XSX is more powerful, but it's build is more akin to a traditional PC pre-build or older consoles as opposed to Sony's extreme efforts to efficiency on PS5 in order to bring more power out to devs right off the bat. It's like ali Salehi said, it'll take time to truly bring out the full power of the XSX. It's 7th Gen. all over again, but the shoe is on the other foot.
He never said anything like that. The XSX will have it easier to push more Pixels, PS5 will be have much better pixel quality. In true is, the PS5 with his all fixed function and i/o will be have much more ram per frame (at least 3,5 times and split ram sucks)

Not, it's factually not more powerful. It has a slightly slower CPU, less TFlops, so it is less powerful. Now, does that tell the whole tale? No, because less powerful doesn't mean less performant. For all we know, it may perform better in spite of being less powerful. That's all.
You've looking at this wrong

PS5 100mhz slower CPU, but that CPU can be pushed to run more heavier code on all cores in parallel, whereas XSX CPU has no contingency for running stuff that will really push it heavy, its devolopment profiler most likely won't let it to avoid XSX crashing (no clever frequency management)

Less TFlops? You're talking THEORITICAL PEAK TFlops, big difference! Please have a read at what lepermessiah posted lately, and many more by the looks you have ignored!

Sorry mate I know you mean well, but we may have to agree on to disagree. Or even better let's just wait till we get real proof before making anymore bold sweeping statements (yes that includes me too)

They won't able to juice that extra power out the XSX in the long run due to hardware limits, this is where it's deficiency in frequency management will cost it dearly (amongst many other things). Sorry this not analogous to PS3 in any way

You're not understanding me, willing or unwillingly. On paper, the Series X is more powerful, no matter how you twist it. In practice however, that power may not translate linearly, and it may actually perform worse than the PS5. These are all assumptions, of course, so let's be objective: based on the released specs so far, the PS5 is the least powerful console, albeit with the fastest GPU and SSD.

These are facts, not opinions.

And I didn't ignore anything, I've been consistent saying that the PS5 is the better piece of hardware and will (arguably, for now) be more efficient than the Xbox, having, if nothing more, some notable pluses on the streaming side.

That said, you seem to be under the impression that while I'm a playstation fan, that I'm somehow trying to defend the Xbox (like that was a bad thing). No. I'm trying to prevent people from spreading BS as facts.

Now, my opinion: while there's a 15 to 20% delta between theoretical GPU numbers, my guess is that real world results in third party games will be around shadow maps / resolution and maybe anti aliasing, at most. As for first party games, Sony will most likely take the cake for best looking games, again.

Thiccc.
Ironic, PS5 is bigger but it's the Xbox Series X I would actually have trouble with placing it next to my TV

What's the preferred stream for quality? Gameshow or IGN? Twitch or YT?

I went IGN. Gameshow has 30s latency on the broadcast, compared to IGN's 8s.

I personally don’t think there’s gonna be a resolution difference at all in third-party games, but hey we’ll see.
I think will exists but not as bad as the Xbox fanboys believe and also is possible you see some games which
run better or at least with higher geometry in PS5 than XSX.

But the loading will be better in PS5 almost always, at least the game is so small in memory footprint than the XSX IO is
enough.
