Look even when I express multiple times my disagreement with Alex the guy is incredible
explaining some complex subjects and he helps DF to be more tecnicall in its videos.
The problem is when his version "I am part of DF respect me" appears like usually happens in Era
but at least is worth to mention much more than others channels of youtube of console fanboys
like the fox for PS and dealer for Xbox are pure garbage.

Yes that's correct as there are no HDMI 2.1 devices that take advantage of the VRR yet lol. Literally by the end of the year it will support it.
The one thing CX has over C9 is LFC which isnt going to be firmware updated for C9, as CX supports freesync premium and the C9 does not.

Personally the benchmark game for me is Control.
Insane physics and interactive environments, beautiful graphics, great sound mix, etc.
The new RTX 3080 footage DF just showed of Control is insane.
Locked 60 FPS, with ray tracing, on high settings, using DLSS "balanced" mode at 1440p upscaled to 4K.
My PS4 Pro struggles to run Control at 30 FPS at 1080p with no ray tracing.
Remedy have said Control can run on PS5 via back compat. No RT, same as PS4, I assume.
There will also be a next-gen PS5 version of Control, that should have some RT.
I am super curious to see if the PS5 can run Control at 60 FPS with RT. And how it compares to a 2080, etc.
That game on a console at 60 Hz with RT, even at 1080p, thats the dream.

Unless you have a massive backlog of games and want to play them on new upgraded hardware i would tell xbox fans to skip the xbox and buy a ps5.
In about 3 years' time, I can see it being worth getting an xbox when their new exclusives, otherwise its going to be rather bland for them compared to the ps5.
do you really want to go through all those years of watching ps5 games reviews which you had picked one up.

How does that even work? Using both hardware and using cheaper RT software together will always give you the edge when it's already pretty minimal HW-wise due to faster clocks.

Just a heads up, don't buy Control yet.
505 decided to release a new version with the DLC and that will be the only way to get the next gen upgrade. Not sure if that version is out yet.
I already bought Control, so I don't get the next gen upgrade. I'd have to buy this new version, and it's probably not worth another buy. Though I would get the DLC... idk.

Its not something I care to discuss any further, and the amount of personal attacks and slurs instead of addressing a point with arguments is proof that this is clearly not the environment for technical discussions, unless its of "praise cerny" type.
About "showing the good things", even for this subject I wrote many times that even a 6 second loading time for a full level is very-very good, magnitudes of difference of where we are at right now.
But, it would really help if sony finally get to disclose some technical things about the ps5, to further talk about the "good things".
