That's completely uncalled for, not to mention off topic. And this is coming from a console + pc gamer all my life (who never ever spent half of 5k on a pc rig)

Oh. Shit.

If true, this is HUGE.

After various teases earlier this year, TeamKill Media has confirmed that its PS5 first-person shooter Quantum Error is now also coming to Xbox Series X, with the intent to release both versions at the same time.

Responding to fans on YouTube, the developer explained that it had "always been open to more platforms," and the game currently has a rough release window of late 2021 for the two systems.

Interestingly though, TeamKill was hesitant to confirm that the game is heading to Xbox Series S for now, stating "it will depend on how development goes," and "we will find out at a later date." That's news to us, as it has been widely assumed that all next-generation Xbox games will work on Xbox Series S as well.

Series S is not selling. They are still available to pre-order here. Everything else is sold out including both versions of PS5.

Its not looking good for this little box.

Heh, I would be interested on that, but almost sure Brazil would tax it.

Calculated 5kg, and around $93, too much for shipping, I think? I think if sent as "gift" there is no tax. I've sent some Nissan Patrol taillights to Australia before.

I would, but fear Thai customs will (a) impound for indeterminate amount of time, and (b) charge me a ridiculous tariff if they don't outright steal it. Foreign imports get crazy markups here, under the guise of protecting local businesses. So I'd have to look at the tariff schedule to see what the markup is for electronics. I remember paying a 30% tariff on a few bottles of face wash my dad sent me from Miami. It had arrived back home, before I left, and I ended up shelling out 1,900THB just to get it out of customs.

I appreciate the offer though. I'd already considered asking you for some help, before I remembered the tariffs.

If sent as gift, I think there should be no tax?

Yup, that's why people love Rockstar. But solid singleplayer and Microsoft is like asking for a meat juice or orange burger.
I think that the gamepass model does not allow for extraordinary funding or development time. So cuts will be made to bring games fast and in rapid succession to go. These things won't make for better games as the last 4 years of xbox/go exclusives have proven. The come two years my ps5 will be more than i need. After that let's see if xbox can live up to the ongoing empty promises phil is making for the last few years.

I was called first. just check the messages. Im saying the script 'synopsis' is the same and everybody knows what is going to happen ar the end.
That's what Bluepoint does though. They're known for doing 1:1 remakes (also ports at times) of older Playstation titles, and making them better graphically and ironing out some of the issues of the original. They did the exact same thing with Shadow of The Colossus, and people absolutely loved it. Not only did a lot of souls fans miss out on Demon's Souls, but it hasn't aged well graphically at all and the gameplay is super janky, so it's the perfect game for Bluepoint to have worked on. You either aren't familiar with what Bluepoint does, or you're resorting to narrowing things down to the script to just troll people and stir things up.

Makes sense. Having the studios in-house is the best way to ensure content for a subscription service. It's the Netflix model. People laughed at how much they were investing in production, and now they have a crazy big catalog. Not all of it is great, but you don't need everything to be a banger. You just need enough content to keep a variety of people happy. Xbox team no doubt got the blessing of the parent company before pushing heavy on GP. It's a strategy that requires near-term investment for long-term revenue.

can we please stop giving these four brothers attention? Seriously?!
first they asked to be laid for exclusivity by Sony and Sony denies. Now they release their game on Xbox and now they try to create an outrage or some shit. SMH.
Just don’t give these idiots any attention.

Why do you guys say Sony should buy blue point? They haven’t made a game, yet just remakes. Sony can continue to contract them for remakes if they want. Once bluepoint has a original game that’s good than Sony should buy them.

Good thing we don't have to buy all new controllers and battery packs for our new Xboxes.
I don't see how the first bit is related, as I fail to see how a platform can provide a next-gen experience based around a fundamental change in trigger/feedback technology in the control pad and then trivially not require technology at the pack-in controller level. If xbox believe their control pad design journey is effectively over, then that's a different topic.

As for the "battery packs", why wouldn't you need to buy new battery packs after 7years(last-gen length) use? As someone that owns a top-end Ansmann Powerline 5 Pro charger for charging the antiquated NiMH/NiCd batteries for kids toys and wiimotes in our house, the quality of battery charge and efficiency (in not heating up) is a joke compared to lithium-ion technology in DS3/DS4/WiiU tablet/Wiiu Pro controller/Switch Pro controller and joy-cons IMHO, in lifespan, energy use and what's better for the planet.

Nothing about using NiMH batteries is superior for the customer IMHO in a real-world scenario of lithium-ion charged by usb in a controller - that can still operate via USB cable when flat and charge quickly at the same time.

People surely must see that it is a budget option to make products without lithium-ion/usb charging - and I'm not just meaning xbox pads - and that's the main reason for the solution. In a scenario where Sony and Nintendo provide the intelligent battery technology and charge a comparative price for controllers, xbox is providing less value and less technology. I can't work out how it has been defended since the 360 days.

The other reason to not provide the lithium-ion/usb technology is that it would also impact console failures/returns, because a faulty battery or charging socket/cable would result in a console return for Sony/Nintendo, so maybe xbox aren't confident in their ability to buy the technology at a price and quality that makes that a non-issue like Sony/Nintendo

They are a quality studio, maybe the best in the remake business.

Just because its a remake does not mean you don't need massive talent to make it.

I imagine some of the people in bluepoint have the credentials to work in any top games stuidio.

Talent is talent, regardless if they make their own games.

Imagine 343 industries remaking Demonsouls, christ.

Bluepoint is very talented, particularly on the tech side. Even if they don't ever make a game by themselves they can collaborate with any other first or third party studios for new games. The MGS remake is probably Bluepoint x Kojipro. Imagine a Bloodborne 2 thats Fromsoft x Bluepoint. You'd get an insane looking game beyond what From would be able to do on their own

If microsoft starts buying publishers amazon, google and tencent will sense the danger and they will enter the war they will not let them get the upper hand

and if the war is done may be sony will sell off playstation trademark to one of the giants

Countries can be hungry on import taxes, i've sent small car part once as gift and it still got taxed in the destined country.

Also saw here, only 50-100 dollars at best to be exempt in my country.
