With the reveal of the PS5, we have one strange looking thingamajig there. Some sort of space ship style internet modem but 2 times taller.

This led me to make a thread comparing all the PlayStation models and to determine which had the worst design, vote in the above poll and comment below on which Sony console you think is the worst PlayStation home console design of all time.

PS4 is close there... good looking for all models.

PS3 is just... weird... it is fine for PS3 Fat but the PS3 Super Slim is probably the worst design ever created.

It's huge, and it's the only console in history (that I'm aware of) that needs a stand to stay horizontal. What the fuck?

either way, definitely the fat Lady (PS3 fat). I hate that design, it's so ugly! the Slim on the other hand is really nice.
the best design would have to go to the PS2 Slim, that thing is tiny and sexy

this is the less sexy, cheaper looking PS2 Super Slim btw. that you didn't list.. poor thing! forgotten and alone!

I found the PS2 not good looking too.

PS2 for me. Thought it was a turd design then and still feel that way. While everyone was still having fun with their console design, here was this lopsided and sterile piece of tech. It looked cheap and dated before it shipped. (but it was fair as it was a console and DVD player for $299)

I used to think the original PS3 was awful, especially the ridiculous looking Spider-Man movie text/type. But PS5 has it beat IMO. It's huge and not really easy to work with.

Honestly for everything the PS5 is, I was expecting something that looked less.... ridiculous?
