Cyberpunk 2077 — Our Commitment to Quality

the game had no game breaking gltiches for me on pc. 10/10
Ah yes, guess what, msot players dont play on PC. Also I love when people say game has no glitches yet Angry Joe with a monster PC says he had tons and had to restart game many times due to game breaking bugs. But people on mid range rigs....no, not a single glitch, the smoothest game ever. Yeah...beer goggles, then again your avatar :messenger_tears_of_joy::messenger_tears_of_joy::messenger_tears_of_joy:

Doesnt it this tell you how this "worth" is all bullshit? A company has a launch dud and all of a suddent its worth half what it was before. Thast my point, all the ones I mentioned, they stayed on that upward train. Their worth is long lasting.

and they're still worth 10 times more than when they launched witcher 3. crazy market.

i can't talk about other people experiences. i personally had no game breaking bugs. no performance problems. no crashes. just visual glitches. i had a way better experience than with hzd on pc. so 10/10 for me. i just wanted to point out that most players do play CDPR games on pc. not high end pcs though. but my friends had great experiences too.

It's the appropriate look, really, for asking for patience and understanding. Contrast that with other companies: when vanilla Destiny 2 was on fire, and players left the game in massive numbers, Bungie were still posting memes and trying to be funny. The community reacted with the calm and consideration you'd expect from the internet: death threats, insults, and a hundred threads a minute asking for resignations. They didn't post too many memes after that.
Oh, most certainly. Of course it's all completely justified. It's just always so sad to see, someone that potentially looks broken, and understandably so with all the nonsense that's happened.

Yeah, lets give a 10/10 to a game that has game breaking glitches, I mean I wont even waste my time on this. Theres a reason why this "our commitment" came out. This game is unfinished, in a year, yeah Ill consdier the 10/10 comments. I guess your standards are super low after Witcher 3.
Lol, u give fallout 76 a good score, consider it a good game...and plenty of other games that dont deserve a 2, yet u play them and enjoy them. Same here. 10/10 cyberpunk, pc version with 60fps 4k easily for me.

Seems like the love for the game can blind the view of the bugs.
More love = less bugs.

The game is fully bugged on PC... it just has way less crashes (Cyberpunk 2077 has flatlined...) than consoles and can brute force the performance.

seems like experiences can vary depending on the pc to me. either that or the more "gta v is better than cyberpunk" videos you watch the more bugs you have.

All bullshit?! lol, are you new to stock market? Shares rise and fall, nothing new here.

CDPR will recover most if not all of what it lost by end of year...

I expect CDPR to be worth twice as much as Ubisoft in 5 years time.

somebody explain to Jason I'M A SOCIALIST IN THE RICHEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD Schreier that they get paid much less in poland not because they hate qa testers but because different countries have different living cost and that doesn't mean they are living like hobos with their salary.

but what can i expect from someone wanted (seriously) the us goverment to cancel every student debt in the country. he may know about games but he knows so little about economy that it's funny and sad.

AJ earns his money by overreacting.
I had some bugs, mostly visual. Game crashed 3 times during my 70+ hour run, I had to reload the game maybe 5 times.
Only one gig was broken due to a bug which will be solved with the next update, I hope.

I've played DLC for Mankind Divided after CP and it crashed 5 times during my 10 hours playthrough.
And let's not even compare it to New Vegas or Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines (I love both games).

What an awesome policy. So can I open shop and sell broken products and hide behind “full refunds” policy? Because that would be awesome and I’ll get rich fast because not everyone is going to refund.
Yea man. That's capitalism. Where you been?
Cars, technology, appliances, houses, fixtures, furniture. It all can be lemons. If the manufacturer offers a good faith replacement/refund option you can opt out of that product. The is ALL the law requires. If you do not opt out, well, that is your problem in the end.

Overreacting or not, when it comes to game reviews, I find him to be honest to say the least.

sure and still people harassed them for years. sean murray went dark for almost 2 years. people were still accusing him of abandoning the game. lying. scamming people. so that means that no matter what you do people will hate you. marcin can release a video tomorrow saying "we are gonna pay a 100 bucks to everyone that bought the game" or "fuck you we got your money. everyone can suck my dick" and the response would be the same.
Pretty much man. If you hop over to any, and I mean N-E social media platform, you would think CDPR had just killed their dog John Wick style. They are on a crusade to ensure the only narrative this company gets going forward is "Fuck you! Die! You put out shit!"

God forbid if you step in and tell them to calm down. You get people mentally channeling this moment

I don't like his reviews.
Did he ever go against the grain? I've watched maybe 20 of his videos and his opinion always seems to be in line with the opinion of the internet.
Besides that, an angry gamer persona is just not what I enjoy these days. You can criticize without sounding childish (like matthewmatosis for example).

I am not much of fan, so it could be that I've jumped to the wrong conclusion.

Oh well. Based on Witcher 3 they'll fix the game and it will eventually be a thing of greatness. The same people crying about being against "crunch" are the same ones bitching about the game for the most part. I'm used to games being trash on release and improving over time. There's very few games, outside of Nintendo, that even are released without major issues.
What low standards you have and it's no wonder games can be released like this.

You can throw shade at the mentality dude but it will not stop the train.
Bladur's Gate 3 EA $60
Ashes of Creation EA(alpha2) $250
Star Citizen (past 330 million crowd funded)

The proof is there in cold hard cash. Until people stop enabling bad behavior we are not going to ever get rid of this type of industry practice. CDPR shot themselves in the foot when they said it was going to release in April. Then in November. Finally, in December. Yet, it was never ready, but we ALL demanded it release because we were enthralled by the hype. Serial delays never raised the red flag to us.

HYPE + FOMO = Stupid gamer mentality derp.

Biggest by what merit? They literally have 4 titles to their name:
Witcher 1...meh
Witcher 2...solid B tier
Witcher 3... struck AAA gold
Cyberpunk...no comment

They are far from the biggest game company in Europe. Let me introduce you to:

Ubisoft
Criterion Games
Guerilla Games
Rockstar North...yes they are the ones responsible for RDR and GTA series, as well as Max Payne series.

Maybe he was refering to Poland.

Ok, it had no game breaking glitches for you. Awesome. But what about the non existent crowd AI? The ridiculous way the game handles the police. The way the city simultaneously feels expansive and detailed, yet still feels hollow and empty? The whole game has a half done feel to it. It isnt just the glitches man.

i don't care about that in a narrative driven game. the witcher 3 was the same the world is just a backdrop for stories. 10/10

You were saying?

i said that most players play cdpr games on pc and you link me an article confirming that most players play cdpr on pc. what are you talking about?

Because let's be real, they're one of the only AAA gamers that give pc gamers the light of day. And that's part of the reason why we see so many pc gamers shilling for the game.

wow great insight on that take. in other news. playstation fanboys shill for sony exclusives because sony make games exclusively for them!

That just means a good chunk of that 41% who bought Cyberpunk were disappointed.

This chart is interesting , you can see the scope of how CDPR fucked 40% of its market at lauch day...before any patch.

The thing that bugs me about the late 2021 next gen update is that it's clearly only being held that long for financial/marketing purposes. They want to get another big press bump for the game to push a second sales wave during the same holiday season that the market is adopting next gen consoles en masse. It feels disingenuous that they advertised the next gen update a year before they'll actually release it.

Uhh. See the first year sales there? Almost half is PS4 alone. It is not until year 3 that PC reaches 50% of the sales.

Yes, digital preorders only. Factor in physical sales for consoles (which are still not-insignificant) and you're looking at a different picture.

LOL, you're seriously bitching about quick travel? Honestly, you can't have a lot going on in your life if you're that happy to waste hours of it simply travelling from A to B in a virtual environment.

Yes I am bitching, it's a fucking RPG game where you are supposed to you know role play. And you know what sucks all immersion out of the role playing game... warping instantly from one quest to the other. You might as well be playing COD at that point.

And if you didn't want to "waste hours of your life" which makes me question why your playing video games in the fist place, they could have easily added a skip button when you got on a train.

You're so right that it hurts. CDPR game worlds are only backdrops for the narrative/story. The rest is mostly euro jank stuff. Sad but true.

so my statement is true. i already knew that thanks

sure and they clearly stated the game was not gta but a narrative driven experience.
cdpr is not the only one though. most narrative driven games are like that. Mafia. Ghost of Tsushima. HZD. dead worlds all of them.

So CDPR just should ignore >50% of their customers for the first couple of years since in the end PC users will end up buying it more?

(and I don't see a Cyberpunk Netflix series coming any time soon, so there won't be a tail-end sales peak)

It's ironic that the game lacked Polish when it was literally made by hundreds of them 😄
If you watch the credits, actually look, they outsourced so much of this game it hurts my bones. This game's development got passed around more than any other game I have played.

Or rather, published the first two. The concept and character (as dated/corny they may seem now) were by Remedy.
Take Two already owned Max Payne when the second game development started.

It was like Remedy had the ideia of the game but no money... Rockstar founded it so they released and Rockatart took the IP.

After that Rockstar paid Remedy to made the second game.

And the 3rd game they did in-house.
