I didn't play MM yet, it feels like an expansion to me, not something I'd waste 60 bucks on. Besides, I platted Spiderman and had my fill for now.

I know youāre being facetious but - is this honestly an assumption? That his race played into my judgement of the character. Like literally nothing to do with the fact that heās black. I didnāt particularly like Miles either, and the story felt a bit too CW for my tastes, like some TV DC show. It wasnāt as bad as that trash but it was leaning hard.

Should of made him younger. He bridged the gap of peter and miles age. I liked when miles was like 13-14 and skater build vs what they did to him and how they draw make he I'm now.

They are complete different from what it used to be in 80s or 90s.

I've never understood the idea behind making a player play a character other than the legendary one they wanted to play as. I'm playing Arkham Knight right now, and I'm sure some people were stoked when the little breakaways happen and you could control Catwoman and whatnot, but to me I'm like "fuck you, I'm playing a Batman game, let me play as Batman." It's not a big deal in AK, as they don't happen frequently at all, but when you think about other big games that have done it egregiously, like Halo 5 or Sons of Liberty, it can piss people off pretty good. IMO, there's only one Spider-Man and that's Parker, so I'm taking a pass on MM regardless, but if it's some people's thing more power to them.

I would like to see their take on Ghost but realistically how would they shoehorn her into Earth-1048?
Especially considering Ghost is actually a really experienced Spider so they cant pull a Miles Morales again and have her start from scratch.....well they could but come on.
If Ghost is getting a game it would have to be in another Universe which is fine I guess.

I found him and his hacker sidekick extremely cringe in general and not in the intentional "spider-man is awkward" way. I don't think I've ever seen every single joke fall flat in a AAA game like that before (and they set a fairly low bar). was literally rolling my eyes at times and it didnt help that they were trying so hard. the script is terrible and his delivery sucks (that falls on whoever directed it in equal measure). Found Peter unremarkable in the first game but at least it wasnt bad enough to detract from my enjoyment like in MM.

I just finished the game last night and I thought Miles was pretty great. I haven't seen Spider-verse and I haven't read a comic in ages so these two games were my first real glimpse of the character. I like the relationship between him and Peter, and him and Phin, and him and his uncle. He's younger so the naivete makes sense.
And the game has zero stupid ass MJ sneaking sequences so it's got that going for it. Really if they have to kill anyone in this franchise I hope it's MJ.
It's a bit light for a $50 expansion pack but I think of it more as I bought the remaster of the original game for $50 and got Miles for $20, so there's that.
I really hope they don't kill off Peter in the next game though. I like the dynamic between them...and online co-op would be awesome.

Enjoyed the game, thought the length was great, I don't need a 40 hour game. The best parts were fighting Rhino. I thought they could do more with Jamison. I guess if there was one thing I didn't care for it was the other radio host...but she was so forgettable I didn't have to pay attention to it.

Because his solo books have always been pretty lackluster and I think theyve been cancelled like 3 times now.
He is a supporting character who cant really carry his own story.
He brings very little to every table he is on.
And even after years of being in the 616 universe he still seems like a guest character like Miguel whenever I see him.

The only Miles Iāve seen that I like is the Spider-verse Miles.

Remember Ironheart, Female Thor (not Thor anymore and she was actually successful in the beginning), Amadeus Cho Hulk. Not my fault that the bar is too low. Him and Ms. Marvel (who is basically completely different from Captain Marvel) are what I'll call successful. They have stuck for long and a lot of their comic runs are great. Tbh, Marvel comics have been pretty shit in the last few years, they have relaunched too many times as nothing works, even Peter Parker comics have sucked for a long time. The last good Pete story IMO was probably Spider-Man: Life Story and that too had mixed reviews.

As far as 17 year olds no I do not really interact with many, and itād be kinda weird if I did. But I have interacted with like 20 and up.

I think he made his voice sound higher than it was for whatever reason. Thereās a cutscene (towards the end, forget which one) where he actually sounds ānormalā for a line or two.
Even in his interviews during the TLOU documentary from 6-7 years ago his voice doesnāt sound like that. Dude is 24 years old now.
