There is definitely a trend. Everytime series X deliver higher res something else it's sacrificed, don't remind a single game with higher res on series X which show other benefits. But it's hilarious read about a victory for something you can't spot without pixels counts but a more visible downgrade in the texture quality is considered a "minor thing".

Yeah i watched a vid the other day, by someone comparing both versions next to each other (on actual hardware, not comparing videos), and he also said the Xbox version looked better. He even said he thought the textures looked better. He also admits to prefer Sony.

Well its simple fact that the closer you get to 4k on a 4k screen, the cleaner and sharper a game will look, i mean thats just the way it is.
Honestly, yeah. I mean I'm a average gamer as well. If other average gamers with similar setups to mine are reporting that in their non bias eyes one version looks better than the other that really holds more weight for me than all these so called professionals. I'm not a big fan of his but his video is pretty transparent. He shows you exactly what he is seeing on his setup, he doesn't hide his settings, etc and he points out exactly what he is seeing which due to the transparency of his video you see as well. That to me is pretty trust worthy. He isn't hiding anything.

Forgive me but the level of stupidity of this post is something else. Now you give me more credit to casual users in the net and you think YouTube doesn't show the true. YouTube worked perfectly until yesterday for IQ comparison but Outriders as a sort of special IQ it seems ruined by the compression.
Lol. It's a video about FPS counts. It doesn't explain anything. You haven't care to look the video and you just read the pixel counts, right? As expected.
Of course Youtube compression is bad, everyone says it. And i'm not even argung for either side. I'm just saying that actually seeing a game natively in front of you, is better that seeing the same game on a Youtube vid.
