Konami back in gaming: all those amazing IPs underutilized is just sad.
A concious effort by japanese devs to port their back catalogs to PC, focusing on games from the 00s and early 10s. Even subpar ports like no more heroes and ninja gaiden collection will do. Having to get an old ass console to play a game makes no sense in this day and age.
A way better working ps2 emulator. Someone should start a patreon like with CEMU and RPCS3. PCSX2 is good but we need something better considering is the ps2 we are taking about maybe the greatest console of all time.
Indie devs to stop with the 8bit and metroidvanias hard on they have since the mid 00s. Shit got old a while ago.
An official way for PC gamers to play OG Xbox and 360 games similar to what Xbox one and series owners can do through emulation. We can't jump from gears 1 to 4 on PC...
Bloodborne PC port. Actually Sony to get serious about their PC business. Look at the potential of their back catalog... they should have a dedicated team to port legacy titles (ps2, PSP, Vita and PS3) to PC. and then use those ports as the basis for ps4 and ps5 versions.

There will probably never be another grandia or lunar but I want another one like grandia 1 and lunar sssc. Also another skies of Arcadia similar to the original, phantasy star like phantasy star 4, suikoden like suikoden 2, breath of fire like bof3, mmo like Ultima online, mmo like Ragnarok online, another arcanum game like the 2001 original by troika, another mother game like mother 3, another dragon force game like the Saturn ones, another tales of like tales of destiny remake, another metal gear like mgs3 subsistence, another nights like the original, another panzer dragoon saga like the original another PSO like the original, another radiata stories like the original, more shining force games like sf3, more Castlevania games like aria and dawn of sorrow, another fft like the original, another ogre battle saga or tactics ogre where matsuno wasn't burned out by the EA of japan
I also want nier to not be popular again
And it'd be nice if we had like more 2d games with pc-98 aesthetics. Or just shift to a timeline where Sega didn't die and people focused more on advancing 2d

Hmm, let me think...(I know you didn't mention games, but this is what I want!)
1: A sequel to Banjo & Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts that pushes everything to 11, or at least a PC port with modding, people have no idea what they missed with the first games genius, but I understand we should've and still should get a true Banjo Threeie.
2: I'd also love to see a spiritual sequel to Diddy Kong Racing by Rare or Playtonic (or possibly Sumo, if it's their A-Team, not the B-Team that made TSR), again for PC and other platforms.
3: A true remake of Halo CE made by Blue Point Games, the remaster is an abomination!
4: Forge 2.0 in Halo Infinite, basically let you add bots for mp, the kind of flexibility whereby you could create almost any gametype you could imagine and (this is the big one) even create you own sp and co-op campaign missions!
4: Make an open world Sonic game that essentially looks like the Sonic CD intro.
5: A sequel to Exhumed/Powerslave, or more fps' that are metroidvania (Doom Eternal was a great step in that direction).
6: Christian games that don't suck, there's so much to draw from there, so much untapped potential...
7: More future sports games like Windjammers.
8: A resurgence of arcade racers, Forza Horizon isn't nearly arcadey enough, not even close, think super exaggerated Michael Bay craziness!
9: More Synthwave/Retrowave in games, in fact, more games built around that whole movement that aren't rubbish...
There's a lot more, but I'll leave it there...

A Bethesda RPG without fully-voiced dialogue. The writing quality in their games took a nosedive after they started voicing everything.
People who didn't get into Fallout and the Elder Scrolls until the PS3/360 generation probably make up the majority of their fanbase now, though, and many of them would riot if they had to read anything beyond the quest log.

Don't know how old you are, but if you are over 35, then they don't exist, or they are a rarity. Believe me (had one years ago in the ps1 era was great, we broke up and she OD'd). Been trying to find one ever since my divorce, its neigh on impossible according to interests on the dating sites. Best bet just find one who accepts you gaming.
