Its very obviously running on the same engine and I find it unlikely that after nailing combat with Nioh and Nioh2 they would release something that doesn't factor in the lessons learned working on those projects.

As I said in another post, turn the sound off and just watch the trailer. It looks pretty decent to me.

I actually did that and now the game looks good to me. Also I noticed that the director of Nioh 1/2 is not the director for this so he's surely making a new game with Team Ninja apart from this right? I base this thought on no evidence.

Jack just looks like a mess, and that he doesn't belong in the game that he's in. lol

hopefully he can be remodeled like in NiOh. from the glimpses the game has a job system. sort of samurai/knight/mage so far. it could be a Co-Op with bit of Toukiden mixed in. there is something related to the plot of the original game that could motivate replayability. NiOh games are very replayable.

To be fair to the original leaks, some things were right. The name. The premise. Hell, even the demo is exclusive to PS5. The fact that Team Ninja was working on it. Literally the exclusivity of it was the only thing wrong and that could easily have been a mix up with the demo

The Nioh's were both technical disasters that looked more similar to PS3 games than PS4, but the gameplay carried them. Hopefully that's the case here.
