Awesome, Ive thought this looked dope ever since it was first shown, hopefully it lives up to how long it took lol.

What time is it?
Kind of crazy this is out. I backed it on Kickstarter in May of 2014. Also made by a former GAF member (jobbs). A played a bit on my Deck tonight. It runs fine. Not really feeling the game so far. I think I prefer the older art from when the project launched. The gun overheating mechanic and combat in general isn't clicking with me. Not terribly excited about the Souls influence either.

Honestly, I don't like her running animation. Too ... Flash-esque.

The very first video I saw back when it was still a flash game, got me very intrigued. Since then, I haven't followed the game much, mostly cuz I knew how long it'll take to develop it if it's being done by just one man. Damn, what an amazing surprise it turned up to be. It's basically Metroid which learned a few things from Hollow Knight, but at the same time has it's own visual identity (art style is amazing - but humans and their portraits don't look as good, sadly, but whatever, that's just my personal nitpick) and a few gameplay ideas to mix things up a bit. I also like the way the main hero is portrayed visually, when it comes to voice acting and personality - at the beginning it's not much, but I think it is made on puprose that way to be intriguing and it works great.

I totally forgot about this. I think it’s free to play for Humble Choice subscribers - and this month’s offering is pretty damn good.

So cool, definitely getting this. I remember the dev actively posting here waaaaaaay back in the day. Game looked phenomenal then, looks even better now. Can't wait to check it out.

Tried it out this morning for about an hour, seems pretty solid! Looks good, sounds great, controls are nice n tight, great atmosphere, easy sell for the asking price.

I think the dev bit of more than he could chew initially, but instead of giving up he manned up and worked through it (for nine years!). Congratulations to the launch and the great reviews J Jobbs .

I tried about 30 minutes and got bored. It wasn’t bad, but it just felt like another been there done that metroidvania.

Gotta go look through some reviews, not that 20 bucks is bad on PSN...I've just got a million other things to play so not sure if I need this now or can just wait out a sale of some kind

I played for close to an hour. I like it so far but have no clue if it will hold up. The art and audio are a standout.

Love the art style and music, I’m useless at these type of games tho, I can’t find the double jump to get where I need to go.

He was speaking in general about all people who slap someone over jokes or words should go to jail. It wasn't a racist thing that the Reeeeee moderators makes it out to be. Glad I told Reee to self ban me years ago. What a horrible forum to have a civil debate/discussion in. The lies, hate, and rhetoric in that place are just as bad as most of the MSM and the SJW social media sites.

The majority of their mods and admins are black so they pretty much insta-ban anything that could by the loosest most ridiculous interpretation be construed as anti-black racism. They banned a lot of people who factually corrected outright BLM falsehoods and misinformation, such as Brenna Tayler wasn't executed in bed with a false warrant, Kyle Rittenhouse didn't gun down black people 3 states over, or Trayvon Martin wasn't killed for carrying a bag of skittles. They do not extend the same courtesy to other "oppressed" groups (such as Asians, Jews, or Hispanics) and have experienced several different minority group exodus' and minor rows over the years (which the mods quickly delete any trace of).

Anyone playing this on PS5, does it make any use of Dualsense features? I'm playing it on GamePass (PC) at the moment but I might end up buying it if I don't get to finish it before my subscription runs out.

I'm enjoying the aesthetic of it. Gameplay is average. Am I dumb or is there no way to see the map? I have a map item but no map function to be found. Only played for about 45 minutes.

Oh umm the map is there in your menu you just need to push LB or L1 I mean I played it on cloud and the map even worked there.

On cloud touch controls are customized which is nice, but the game needs a little more precision than you’ll get out of touch controls.
