Two solid sports games that I liked but can't seem to find anyone who has actually played them.
Trade games are a genre of games that seems to have been relegated to a few random indie releases once in a while. Where you have a small city and build it up by trading and producing goods. Patrician III is the best one of the bunch, and while it had its glory days back in the day, it's a franchise and sub-genre I miss. That said, trade games are pretty big on mobile. But who gives a shit about mobile.
Aggressive Inline was pretty good
Was really overlooked in the whole extreme sports genre though like you say

Faxanadu has such an interesting series. It's actually part of the Dragon Slayer series, which still gets new games today. The Legend of Heroes series is part of the same series!

This was actually a decent game and one I platinum. It wasn’t amazing but it was ok.
Warner should consider bringing this franchise back, damn manikins always scared me.

Skyroads is a DOS game I stumbled on as a kid via abandonware sites. It's so much fun and some of the music was really great. I wish GOG would give it the DOS-BOX treatment.
I actually mention it quite a bit on Gaf but Tyrian is a shmup masterpiece. It's more like baby's first shmup because it's so forgiving but man, the music, gameplay, upgrade system, graphics, etc. It's really is a masterpiece and is free on GOG, it was one of the first games on that platform, so cool.

Undying was fantastic although I don't think I ever actually finished it. But on that note:
Loooved this back in the day on 360 and finished it multiple times. It just had such a unique vibe and atmosphere that really sunk its hooks into me.
I should replay it.

This just made me think what if they put tracks from Diddy Kong Racing in MK8 DLC , they could do that right?
Still my favorite Rare game ever (and imo the best Kart Racer ever), hoping Microsoft/Nintendo can work out a deal to get this playable on Switch (and Xbox if possible but seems unlikely with Diddy Kong being in it)
