Take a look at the Official Trailer for Jesus Simulator, a narrative-driven simulation game developed by VRCFORGE Studios. Players will experience the life of Jesus Christ and be taken on a journey through the Gospels. Witness sermons, miracles, and explore the Christ-like nature of Jesus. Jesus Simulator is launching on March 23 for PC (Steam).

I mean it's boring as fuck, with production values I could fart out without eating beans. But it's there if you're so inclined.
Thanks for sharing; I didn't know that existed.

Let me refine my take: I'd like to see a game about Jesus that depicts him and his actions like out of the Bible (and with mediocre or better gameplay and graphics). For example, head-to-head battles isn't something that came up much. Then again, maybe it does in Revelations.

It's blasphemy to create a game that you contol Jesus, it's very very wrong. No one is worthy of even thinking of being able to control God in flesh.
I mean, if we're going to go into theology, he was also a man. Yes, my parents were very Christian. I've read the Bible multiple times. It's the best way to raise an atheist.

...but if you're suggesting no representations of a deity should be permitted, a) what's with all the art then, and b) you're sounding very much like another monotheistic religion. Hopefully not carrying bomb vests yet.

man this looks rough.

The idea of doing some type of interactive New Testament game could be interesting, but this looks just bleh.

Being Jesus just seems like the game would be on rails as it all had been predetermined.

i prefer my biblical games from perfectly hinged mind of mdickie
Came into the thread to reference MDickie and did not expect someone else to have already done so. I see you're a man of taste.

I need to know more about this MDickie fella. Every one of his games has reviews that directly mention him and seem to place him somewhere between cult figure and cult leader.
That about sums it up.

Mdickie rules. I made this thread about him over 10 years ago.

I mean, Switch is also a home console but we insist its a handheld. Him being "also a man" means nothing.

Watched part of 2 videos on YouTube. One was an iceberg that constantly talked about how nice he is and how he interacts with fans all the time, the other was a youtuber talking about controversies MDickie has like getting review bombed after putting a Charlie Kirk poster in his game post murder.

Is MDickie all things at all times? He seems to sit on all ends of all spectrums.

You're a wrestling fan, right? His wrestling games are arguably his signature ones. So I'd recommend checking out Wrestling Empire. His games are weird but it's not a "so bad it's good" type thing because I have had a lot of sincere fun playing them. And then the weird quirks of how they're made add in a lot of chaotic elements that mean crazy shit can unexpectedly happen.

You can also use mods to change the rosters (there are multiple promotions) to the real-life wrestlers.

Just looking there, Wrestling Empire is currently 50% off on Steam and has a playable demo too. There really isn't anything else like it so it's well worth checking out.

The last boss battle would be with a massive dragon with lots of heads.
