The one game soundtrack you want more people to know about...

Do you ever play a game that isn't particularly big-budget or very popular that has an absolutely superb soundtrack? It's happened to me a few times, with the most recent example being the 3DS Eshop title Mutant Mudds. Mutant Mudds is a retro 2D platformer with an incredibly catchy 8-bit soundtrack, and I can't get enough of it. Not a day has gone by since the game's release on January 26th where at least one of the songs wasn't stuck in my head, and I've even re-visited the game a few times just to soak up the fantastic tunes.

About a week ago I started looking around online to see if I could find some of the tracks and I found the entire OST available on bandcamp. What do you guys think? I would suggest checking out 2-2 and 4-1 to get a good feel for the flavor of this game's music.

So how about you guys? Any somewhat obscure soundtracks you'd like to share with the world of GAF?

Granado Espada OST.

It's an MMORPG, set in an alternate/fantasy Spanish colonization of the Americas. The soundtrack is awesome! Even though some dungeons have licensed music, like Tiësto's, makes it more awesome :D

The Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines soundtrack - it was very good and I have a feeling that a good amount of people missed out. I'll try and post some links to songs later.

None, because then it'd be mainstream. And the mainstream is for suckers.

Wrong. Being flippant is for suckers. If you aren't contributing the thread then why bother posting?

FANTASTIC soundtrack by Paul Oakenfold. Some great remixes of the Bourne theme as well. I'm really disappointed an OST was never released.

Xenoblade. Everyone needs to listen to it.

Edit: Adding it here because many people didn't play it. Or had the chance...

A great introduction to the genius that is Masafumi Takada. A great collection of electronica and it's variations. Also you'd be fooled that the man composed all these songs from taking one song & breaking down it's beat & applying it create different tunes.

Yep an awesome soundtrack from begining to end.

Oh and most Atlus game are really awesome, a shout out to Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne and Persona games.

I can't wait to hear this one when I pick the game up in a few months. There's nothing like a JRPG with awesome music. This thread is going to be a good resource for me for quite some time. Thanks for the input, guys.

Seriously though, listen to some Mutant Mudds tunes. :p

Valkyria Chronicles. It does get mention but not nearly enough. The SoTC soundtrack should also be boosted up to top tier status along with the FF, CT, CC, etc...

EDIT:
I'm also listening to the VC OST at work right now. Just felt like mentioning.

Because it doesn't get listened to enough and everyone should hear these tunes while driving around winter roads.

Shatter.

Everyone should know about Shatter.

Everyone should listen to Shatter.

Everyone should love Shatter.

This is what I came here to post, one of my favorite game soundtracks ever. It's like so many musical things I love (Anjunadeep style house music, Amiga MOD music, Daft Punk) were thrown into a blender and the result is fantastic. Heard a few songs on Hardcore Gaming 101's list of the best western game music and then couldn't load up Steam fast enough to buy the game, where I proceeded to beat it in 2 days.

Also I loved Every Extend Extra's soundtrack, some of the best driving/banging techno I've heard in a game. On that note, Battle Garegga also features a soundtrack influnced by many Detroit techno pioneers. And can't forget Dangun Feveron, one of the only games to my knowledge that has a disco soundtrack (it's of course awesome).
